Hi, this is Ddungi-eomma. 🥗(•🐽•)🍝 I've been eating nothing but Korean food and meat lately, so I was suddenly craving pasta. 🫶 While searching for a good spot in Gangnam, I found a restaurant with really striking European-style interiors. 🧐

Turns out it's already a pretty popular spot in Gangnam. 👀 No need to overthink it — I booked a table right away and went.

Pretty European-style decor and food that was delicious across the board — let me share my visit to 'The Mignon,' a Gangnam Station restaurant I'd recommend for a blind date or a date spot. ❣️

The Mignon is an 8-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 11, and a 5-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6, so it's easy to get to. 👍

Besides à la carte items, they also have a variety of set menus, so it was easy to pick something that fit the occasion.

A European-style standalone building and the first-floor seating

Following the address, The Mignon comes into view. 😆 It's a two-story building, so the space was bigger than I expected. 👀

The exterior was bursting with European vibes and just so pretty. ❣️

Inside, the white-toned interior with accent lighting felt clean but stylish. 🫶

This is the first-floor seating. The tables are spaced pretty generously, so it looked like a comfortable place to eat and chat. 😘

Second-floor reserved seats and chandeliers at The Mignon Seoul

After confirming our reservation, we followed a staff member up to the second floor, and the chandelier hanging from the ceiling was seriously so pretty. 💡❣️

Upstairs, the vibe was similar to the first floor yet also different somehow. 👀 It was seriously soooo pretty that I'd recommend it as a blind date or date spot. ❣️

What comes in The Mignon Seoul's brunch set for two

Since we came around lunchtime, we ordered the brunch set for two. It comes with 2 drinks + a salad + 1 brunch item (sandwich, toast, pancake, etc.) + 1 main.

You get to pick each item yourself, so you can choose whatever suits your taste! That day we picked two sodas, an apple butter jambon open sandwich, a romaine salad, and a seafood oil pasta. 🍝

The romaine salad that arrives as half a head of lettuce

Not long after ordering, the romaine salad and drinks arrived. Wait, what LOL — I ordered a salad and got half a whole head of romaine plopped on the plate LOL 🤣

You cut the romaine salad into whatever size you like yourself, and it's topped with cheese and nuts, which made the flavor seriously rich! 🤪 Fresh and nutty, it was perfect to eat before the mains. 👍

How the apple butter jambon (ham) open sandwich tastes

Then the apple butter jambon open sandwich came out. Ta-daa 🥰

It's an open sandwich on baguette spread with cinnamon apple jam and cream cheese, topped with jambon and apple slices. The combo of sweet apple and salty jambon worked really well together, making it a light brunch item that paired nicely with the salad! 👍

Seafood oil pasta loaded with shrimp, clams, and scallops

Last came the seafood oil pasta. 😛 It was loaded with seafood — just looking at it made my mouth water. 🤤

Everyone, you have to order this!! It was seriously soooo good. 🤪 The pasta noodles were cooked just right, and the oily yet nicely salty flavor suited it perfectly. 😝👍

It was loaded with shrimp, clams, and scallops too, so it was super satisfying the whole way through. 🫶 This place really is a pasta spot! 🍝 Next time I'll skip brunch and just order pasta and risotto! 😆

With European-style interiors and even a chandelier, every corner makes for a pretty photo, so it's a perfect blind date or date spot — and every dish we ordered, from brunch items to pasta, was delicious, which made it clear why this place is so popular in Gangnam. 😁

The seafood oil pasta especially was so good that I still find myself craving it!
