Café in Yeongjong for canal walks: Pink Wall Cafe

In short

Pink Wall Cafe is a bakery café in Yeongjong, Incheon, with a pet-friendly annex and outdoor area. I visited with my dog on a weekday, walked by the canal, and had an iced Americano and mango smoothie; the air-conditioned annex and spacious free parking were useful, though it was too hot to sit outside.

I visited Pink Wall Cafe (핑크월카페) in Yeongjong with my dog on a weekday. The pet-friendly areas were divided between an annex and the outdoors, and we could take a walk while looking over the nearby canal.

What were the exterior and parking like?

Pink accents stood out from the exterior through to the interior. I especially remembered the pink wall in front of the café, which also made a nice backdrop for photos.

I parked and entered from the back. There seemed to be two entrances, and the area at the rear was neatly arranged as well. The dedicated parking lot in front of the café was free and spacious, so parking felt easy.

Was it a good place to spend time outdoors with a dog?

The space was divided into the main building, annex, and outdoor area. Dogs were allowed in the annex and outdoor area, but not in the main building.

Calm waterways and an open canal view stretched around the café. It was hot on the day I visited, so I could not sit at the outdoor tables. On a cooler day, I thought it would be nice to drink coffee outside and enjoy the view.

There was no one outside on the weekday I visited, so I could take a relaxed walk with my dog. Since it was not crowded, it was also easy to rest and take photos.

What were the indoor atmosphere and pet-friendly annex like?

The café interior felt bright, with white and wood tones accented by pink. The window seats overlooking the canal caught my eye, and the high ceiling and wide spacing between tables kept it from feeling cramped. There were outlets at the tables, and cat dolls were displayed too.

The annex right beside the main building was also neatly decorated with pink accents. It had air conditioning, which made it a good place to stay with a dog on a hot day.

What desserts were available besides drinks?

The drinks included signature items, coffee, non-coffee drinks, tea, and smoothies. Photos on the kiosk made the menu easy to choose from. I heard that the bagels were made in-house.

At the time of my visit, there was a notice saying that cream cheese came free with a bagel purchase. There were several types of cream cheese, and cakes were available in addition to bagels.

Pink decorations were scattered around the counter too. At the time of my visit, there was also an event offering free chestnut snacks for posting a review on social media.

How much were the drinks, and how did they taste?

The iced Americano was ₩6,500 and the mango smoothie was ₩9,000. I was full after a meal, so I only had the two drinks and did not order bagels.

The iced Americano was clean without a stale aftertaste. It was neither too heavy nor too bitter, with a balanced acidity and nuttiness.

The mango smoothie had a rich, sweet mango-pulp flavor. Rather than tasting strongly of syrup, it retained mango's own fresh sweetness, which suited my taste especially well.
