What are the texture and how-to-use steps like?

There was a separate spatula inside the lid, which I used for storage. Since charcoal is the main ingredient, the balm was black, with a sherbet-like texture that scooped up smoothly.

• I applied it evenly to a dry face.
• I massaged my face in rolling motions for 30 seconds.
• I rolled more carefully over my nose and areas where blackheads concerned me.
• I emulsified it until white with a small amount of water, then washed with lukewarm water.

Did it remove color makeup well?

The texture melted as soon as it touched my skin, and I felt that even color makeup came off fairly easily thanks to its soft texture. Compared with cleansing oil, which can run, this balm texture that melts on the skin was more convenient to use.

After rolling it around for about 30 seconds and washing, it felt as though moisture remained, so I used it comfortably as a daily cleanser.

How was it on areas where your nose and pores concern you?

I usually used a charcoal pack for my nose or a separate exfoliating-care pack, but this product was convenient because I could roll it over areas with blackheads while cleansing. Especially after rolling more carefully over my nose, it felt clean, with moisture rather than oiliness left behind.

I have sensitive skin, and I used it without any breakouts. Still, skin reactions can vary from person to person.

Did your skin feel tight after washing?

I liked that it cleansed well while leaving my skin feeling moist and supple rather than tight afterward. Its creamy, soft sherbet texture made me reach for it even on days when an oil-type cleanser felt like too much.
