The mount I looked for after switching to a MagSafe case

After recently switching my phone case to a MagSafe case, I started buying MagSafe accessories one by one. I only just realized there were so many convenient products, from card wallets and chargers to car mounts. My iPhone 12 or later could already use MagSafe, but since I had to take off the case to use it, I had never particularly thought about using MagSafe. My old phone case had become so worn out that I decided it was finally time to buy a new one, and I chose a MagSafe case. Changing the case made it feel like I had bought a new phone, haha, and I liked being able to easily swap MagSafe accessories on and off and carry them around lightly.

Among the many MagSafe mounts, I came across and tried the 비티냐 360° Rotating MagSafe Phone Holder. It was a product that could be operated lightly with one hand, adjusted to different angles, and had strong suction and magnetic force.

Colors, portability, and what is included

There are two colors to choose from, black and white. I like darker colors, so I chose black.

The 비티냐 360° Rotating MagSafe Phone Holder has good magnetic attachment and base suction, yet it is smaller than the palm of my hand and weighs about 133 g, so it slips easily into a pocket or bag.

Inside the box are the MagSafe mount itself, a magnetic ring, a round pad, and cleaning paper. The cleaning paper seems intended for wiping the surface clean to improve suction.

The magnetic ring can be attached to phones or products that do not support MagSafe. Once you peel off one layer, it has adhesive, so there is no need to add tape separately.

The round pad is for attaching to uneven suction surfaces to improve adhesion. It seems like it would be useful when a car dashboard has a pattern and is not flat.

The inconvenience of my old clamp-style mount

The car phone mount I had been using had limited angle adjustment and used a lever to create suction. Sometimes it would not adhere even when I pressed the lever properly, and my phone would fall. Since it was a clamp style that gripped both sides of the phone, the side buttons could get pressed as well. It also left marks on the glass whenever I removed it, which was annoying to clean off.

Two-joint angle adjustment and dial suction

What I liked about the 비티냐 360° Rotating MagSafe Phone Holder was that it could be adjusted to many different angles. You can use its two joints to set the screen at the angle you want. The joints bend with a little resistance, so I do not think the angle would shift even when driving over a speed bump. And because the phone attaches with MagSafe, rotating the screen vertically or horizontally is simple.

The suction method is simple. Place it on an area without curves and turn the dial on the body clockwise—that is it. After attaching it, I tried pulling on it, and even with only a slight turn of the dial, it was stuck on quite firmly.

How it felt on car glass and in the kitchen

I attached it to my car window before driving, and it was definitely more convenient than my old mount. The phone attaches as soon as I bring it close, and the magnetic force held up well even through strong movement in the car. It was also easy to adjust the attached phone to a comfortable viewing angle.

I also attached it to an upper kitchen cabinet door, and it stayed on well. I could keep it at eye level while cooking, which made watching videos on my phone more convenient. It adheres well anywhere flat, so I think it could be used in many places and at many angles.
