How did I have it on busy mornings?
On days when I was busy getting ready for work, it was hard to fit in a meal, and if I left on an empty stomach, I would be hungry well before lunch. I usually like oat drinks and oat milk, so I tried Garuseonsaeng Oat Drink, which I could drink simply by adding water.
After trying it myself, I found it easy to prepare. Besides mixing it with water, I could use it for an oat latte and ono (overnight oatmeal).
What were the packaging and contents like?
When the delivery arrived, the packaging looked neat.
The simple design also made it easy to keep in the kitchen. There was a spoon inside the box as well.

How do you mix it with water, and does it dissolve in cold water?
It was simple to prepare. I put one spoonful of Oat Drink and water into a cup, then stirred it well.
It dissolved fairly well even in cold water. When mixed with warm water, the nutty aroma came through more strongly, so I personally preferred it warm.
At first, I expected it to feel like plain oat powder, but it was smoother than I expected and went down easily.
Is it more nutty or sweet?
The taste was what I was most curious about. I had the preconceived idea that health-food products would not taste good, but the nutty flavor was surprisingly quite rich.
I could taste the mild, clean character of oats. If you are used to sweet drinks, it may seem a little bland at first, but after drinking it for a few days, I came to like the taste. It was not overly sweet, so it was fine to drink every day.
How did I use it for oat lattes and ono?
My most satisfying method was an oat latte. I added and mixed in one shot of espresso; it worked well, and it somewhat had the feel of an oat latte from a café.
I also used it in ono, or overnight oatmeal, which I often make.
I mixed Greek yogurt, banana, blueberries, and nuts into the Oat Drink, then left it in the refrigerator. It was convenient because I could take it out and eat it the next morning, and it made for a filling breakfast.
How filling was it as a breakfast substitute?
Even though it felt light to drink like water, I did not feel hungry again as quickly as I expected. It was not as filling as a regular meal, but I was satisfied with it for busy mornings.
For me, the biggest advantage was how quickly it could be prepared. I could mix it with water, combine it with coffee, or add it to ono, so it was convenient to use in different ways. I think it would suit anyone who usually likes mild oat drinks.
