Charcoal cleansing balm for oily-combo skin: HEEDA Jirisan

How did it feel on combination-oily skin?

I usually find the oily residue from cleansing balms burdensome. I liked that the HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm seemed to leave little residue after washing, and it melted relatively quickly with body heat, feeling like applying a runny mud mask.

How did I use the container and texture?

It came in a black plastic container with a lid that opens and closes. I felt there was less chance of losing the spatula, and it was convenient to close the lid before and after use.

In what order did I use the cleansing balm?

• I spread it evenly over a dry face.
• I massaged in circular motions, focusing on areas where blackheads and pores concerned me.
• For areas with heavier makeup, I massaged lightly, then added water to emulsify it.
• I rinsed thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Because the formula was black, it was easy to see where I had applied it while massaging. Adding water to emulsify it also felt easy, and it turned into grayish water.

How did my skin look after cleansing?

Right after rinsing, my skin looked brighter, and the blackhead and pore areas seemed less noticeable. Still, I thought that change could be temporary. The fact that no oily feel remained after cleansing suited my skin, which finds oily formulas burdensome.
