What is Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch like?
Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch (하누소뒷고기 범일점) is a BBQ place in Beomil-dong, Busan, where you can enjoy hanwoo at a friendly price. It was a special day for us as a couple, so we went to eat hanwoo at Hanuso, haha.

I mean, is every day special for this couple??? lol Anyway!!! It's a place where you can enjoy hanwoo at a good price. Let me introduce Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch~

Does Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch have a group room?
Yes, there are private rooms that are great for company dinners or family gatherings, seating from 8 up to 50 people. Group seating was well set up too~! The walls have beef trivia and a notice about the restroom,, but the place was packed so I couldn't take photos of the interior ㅠㅠ
Hanuso menu and what we ordered

At Hanuso you can enjoy hanwoo in all sorts of cuts!!! There are set menus, and you can also order the meat à la carte. It was a special day, but we eat out every day anyway ^^... so we went for the cheapest option, hanwoo dwitgogi (rear-cut beef). I heard it's a special cut produced only in small amounts from each cow~~
Does the basic table setting include beef soup?

The basic table setting comes with refreshing water kimchi and beef soup~ You could finish a whole bottle of soju with just the basic side dishes ^^
Look at how much beef is in that soup♥ Packed with bean sprouts too! Because of this beef soup, we didn't order any other side meal items!!! It was plenty. The broth was amazing ㅠㅠ

Do you get free yukhoe if you book on Naver?
Yes! If you book through Naver before visiting, you get complimentary yukhoe (seasoned raw beef)!!!!!♥ We booked on Naver and visited, you know??? Everybody, book on Naver~

Before the meat even arrived, we clinked somaek (soju mixed with beer) over the yukhoe and beef soup! As soon as the hanwoo came out, the staff sprinkled salt and pepper on it right away~~

Hanwoo dwitgogi at ₩14,900: taste and portion
Hanuso's hanwoo dwitgogi is ₩14,900 per 100g serving, and we ordered 3 servings! Even at 100g per serving, the portion was generous. Dwitgogi is a chewy cut with a strong bite, so it feels crunchy and springy.

It's not a cut with rich, fatty flavor like ribeye. Instead it has a deep beefy taste. It's also low in fat, so even eating a lot felt less greasy~~

Why is there corn under the grill plate?
At Hanuso in Beomil-dong, they lay corn under the grill plate, and I heard it catches the dripping oil. Since fat doesn't fall straight onto the fire, it reduces smoke and keeps the meat from burning directly!!! They say it also tempers the heat under the plate so the meat doesn't char too fast. I like corn so I wanted to eat it;; lol But it's not for eating, so please don't.

What's the best way to eat hanwoo dwitgogi?
The crunchy chew of the dwitgogi was delicious. It's also mild, so it's good eaten on its own or wrapped in a ssam (leaf wrap)~~

Wrapped in a perilla leaf with the free yukhoe, the chew doubled and it tasted even better. It doesn't melt in your mouth like sirloin, but this special cut gets nuttier and richer the more you chew. If texture matters to you, give the hanwoo dwitgogi a try.

From newlywed somaek to soju, then round two
Finishing with soju~~! We switch from somaek to soju: enjoy the refreshing taste of somaek, then finish with soju, and the drinking feels cleaner. Hehe, our very own drinking method ^.^
After eating like this at Hanuso, we picked up takeout oyeot tongdak (old-style whole fried chicken) nearby and had round two at home ㅠ Wait, this is how all newlyweds live, right? It's not just us going wild like maniacs, right? ㅜㅜ

That was Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch, with its tasty hanwoo and crunchy texture! I'd recommend it as a Beomil-dong BBQ spot for company dinners too~~
