It's already word-of-mouth famous as a Luone City spot, and between the retro vibe and the good-value menu, it's a solid choice for a group of friends or a dinner date.

What does the restaurant look like inside?

The first thing I noticed walking in was how lively it felt. Not too noisy, but the smell of grilling meat mixed with people's laughter — exactly the vibe you want from a BBQ restaurant~

One of the best things about Euljiro Yeontan Gui is that you can enjoy various cuts without breaking the bank! With prices these days, meat can get expensive fast, but here you can order by the 100g and there's a menu combo that lets you try several cuts at once, so there's a lot of choice. 👍👍

Which cuts come in the 600g pork platter?

That day I ordered the signature 600g pork platter. It's made up of several cuts — pork belly, pork neck, jowl meat, and skirt meat — so I got to enjoy a bunch of different flavors at once. The pork skin comes free too!

Eating just one cut can feel a little lacking, but switching between several kept things interesting all the way through!

The pork belly was nice and juicy, while the pork neck had a soft, clean flavor. 👍👍

The pork jowl had that signature chewy texture, and the skirt meat got nuttier the more I chewed~!

There was a subtle charcoal smokiness running through everything, which really brought out the flavor of the meat!

Banchan comes from a self-serve bar

There's a good variety of banchan (side dishes) to go with the meat.

It's nice that there's a self-serve bar, so you can just grab more of whatever runs low. You can pick up lettuce, various vegetables, and side dishes to your taste, which makes eating the meat even more fun haha

Finishing with bibim naengmyeon: a huge portion

After eating a good amount of meat, I also ordered the bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles). (The portion is really huge)

The spicy-sweet sauce coated the noodles nicely, and it played the role of cleaning up the palate after all that meat.

And putting a piece of meat on top of the bibim naengmyeon and eating them together? What a combo. 🍯 That bibim naengmyeon sauce is genuinely addictive..! Just the right amount of spicy — the best 👍

Seafood dishes on the menu too

Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch impressed me by having a good variety of seafood on top of the meat menu. They also sell scallops, abalone, sea squirt, and grilled pen shell, so next time I want to try meat and seafood together~
