Hundred-Year Store sushi set for two in Goyang: Min Cook Dasima

Min Cook Dasima is a Hundred-Year Store certified Japanese restaurant within walking distance of Hwajeong Station in Goyang, Gyeonggi. Back from a trip to Nha Trang and too tired to cook, the writer and her husband came for weekday lunch, ordered the weekday lunch discount sushi set for two at 39,000 won and added kake soba for 3,900 won. From the appetizer porridge to three kinds of tempura and salmon, flounder, tuna, mackerel and soy-marinated shrimp sushi, Min Cook Dasima served a filling meal that erased the travel fatigue.

Visiting on a weekday around lunchtime, the writer looked around the 1st floor, the 2nd floor and the 2nd-floor rooftop (a no-kids zone), then ordered an iced Americano at 6,000 won, a strawberry latte at 8,000 won, a fresh fig cake at 10,000 won and two salt breads at 6,000 won. The garden views paired with the fig cake made Baedagol Bakery House an easy choice whether you come with parents or with kids.
