Hojicha swirl ice cream at Bucheon dessert café Wonder Coffee Bar

Today's post is about Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok, a dessert roastery café near Yeokgok Station in Bucheon. ☕️☕️

Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok hours, location and parking

Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok is located at 30 Buil-ro 763beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are 10:00 - 21:00 with last order at 20:30. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but if a holiday falls on either of those days, it opens as usual and takes the closure on the following Wednesday or Thursday instead.

It's a 7-minute walk from Exit 2 of Yeokgok Station (Line 1), 14 minutes from Exit 5 of Onsu Station (Line 1), and 12 minutes from Catholic University of Korea / Yuhan University.

There's also a designated parking area, so parking is possible!! It's on Buil-ro 780beon-gil (2-3 min walk), and general vehicles can park there from 9am to 6pm.

Outdoor seats and the two indoor rooms

Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok also has outdoor seats and tables, so it looks like a nice spot to sit outside with a coffee on a good-weather day.

Besides the spot pictured, there's another separate indoor space where you can sit, which made it feel relaxed and uncrowded.

There was an ice cream machine off to one side of the café. You can also order a variety of financiers and fruit sandos.

I went with the signature ice cream (hojicha & vanilla), a matcha cream latte, and for dessert, melon sando and a vanilla bean financier!

Signature ice cream: half hojicha, half vanilla

I ordered Wonder Coffee Bar's signature ice cream as a hojicha & vanilla swirl. The hojicha (roasted green tea) ice cream is apparently only available here. If you love coffee, ordering the Wunder Gato to eat alongside the ice cream would be great too.

It was my first time trying hojicha ice cream and..!! It was so good. It has a hint of green tea flavor. The vanilla was amazing too, no need to say more. The ice cream was cold and smooth, so delicious. So glad I went with the swirl haha.

What does the matcha cream latte taste like?

Matcha cream latte! I'm a matcha lover so there was no skipping it haha 🍵🍵

It had a thick, chewy layer of cream on top, and the latte had a deep, slightly bitter matcha leaf flavor. It's not very sweet, so anyone who likes the true flavor of matcha will probably love it. Highly recommend!

Melon sando and the other fruit sando flavors

The melon sando I was most curious about. The melon was in great condition, with big, generous chunks. Recommended if you like melon! The bread was chewy and delicious, and best of all, the cream wasn't heavy.

They had fruit sando, melon sando, and grapefruit-peach yogurt sando, and it seems the fruit changes a bit depending on what's in season! You can order according to your favorite fruit.

Vanilla bean financier at Wonder Coffee Bar

And the classic vanilla bean financier.

Crisp outside, moist inside, and delicious. They had so many financier flavors too — chocolate, pecan, cheese crumble, and more — so it looks great for picking according to your taste. I went with the classic vanilla bean!

This is a great café near Yeokgok for coffee and drinks of every kind, along with signature ice cream, fruit sando, and financiers. With two separate indoor spaces, it felt relaxed and uncrowded. If you're looking for a nice, comfortable café near Yeokgok Station, I think Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok is well worth a visit *^^* Recommended💟
