Why I sent in my Bugaboo mid-size stroller

A stroller gets used every time we go out with the child, so it is one of those baby items that is surprisingly hard to maintain. But honestly, the most convenient thing about using this place was that I did not have to carry it there myself. The item I sent in this time was the Bugaboo mid-size stroller we normally use. After using it for a long time, it was honestly in quite a state. A stroller is something a child sits in for long periods, with food, sweat, dust, and more gradually building up, so wiping the outside and having it properly laundered are clearly different things. There are also lots of places that are difficult to reach at home, especially between the seat sections and around the frame connections.

How to request stroller pickup

Using the service was not difficult either. You apply through Naver Booking, phone, or text, then make payment in advance to confirm the pickup reservation. Payment can be made by bank transfer or Naver Pay, and they collect it free from outside your front door after 6 PM on the reserved day.

The contactless doorstep pickup was especially convenient because I did not have to arrange a time to meet anyone. When you are caring for a child, even setting one outing can be difficult depending on how the child is feeling, but with this, you just leave the stroller outside the door, so it definitely felt less burdensome.

How does the stroller laundry process work?

The biggest reason to use a professional laundry service is, of course, the process. Rather than simply wiping the exterior and sending it back, they say it goes through pickup → microscopic analysis → disassembly → separate washing → frame steam sterilization → drying → second UV sterilization → reassembly → packaging → delivery.

Starting the day after pickup, they disassemble the stroller and car seat, check and sort each item according to the level and type of contamination. Then a laundry master washes the fabric sections with natural detergent, while the frame and similar parts are cleaned using natural cleaner, high-temperature steam, and high-pressure water.

What I personally liked was that it did not end there. After washing, they use a drying system for about 2 days until everything is fully dry, then carry out UV sterilization once more. Since this is an item that comes into direct contact with a child, it felt more important to know how it was managed through washing, drying, and sterilization than simply seeing that the stains were gone.

A mid-size stroller in particular is bulky, so when I think about unfolding it at home, cleaning every piece, and getting it completely dry, it sounds quite cumbersome. How long the cleaning took

The laundry service normally takes around 3–4 days. After pickup, the stroller is disassembled, its condition is checked, and each part is washed, then it is dried thoroughly for about 2 days before a reassembly master puts it back together, packages it, and sends it by free delivery. Rather than getting it back quickly after just one day, I actually felt reassured that they allowed enough drying time. I received a text saying the cleaning was complete 3 days later, and it was delivered that same day.

It arrived already packaged, and it really felt like the stroller had been reborn as a new one. So, so satisfied..

Truly, a new stroller was born. It looked even cleaner in person, and it came back in perfect condition without a speck of dust.
