Cafe Pips in Wonmi-gu, Bucheon is calm and quiet, which makes it a great spot to open your laptop and get work done. I've been spending a lot of time working from cafés lately, and this time I went looking for somewhere quiet where I could really focus, and that's how I ended up at Cafe Pips!!

The whole place has a calm, comfortable mood, and I liked it the moment I walked in. Above all, the atmosphere suits working on a laptop. It's not noisy around you, and maybe because it's so calm, I felt like I could concentrate even better.

Cafe Pips has large windows, so you can see right outside. I tend to get tired quickly in stuffy cafés when I stay a long time, so this was a big plus for me.

Seeing the view outside makes the space feel more open, and even after sitting for a long while it felt less stuffy. It was also nice to rest my eyes on the window for a moment now and then~ Sipping a coffee and ticking off tasks one by one on my laptop, the time really flew by.

What scone flavors does Cafe Pips have?

The showcase at Cafe Pips has plain, Lotus, dark chocolate, blueberry and strawberry cheese scones, plus cake by the slice. I like that there's cake too. It would also be a nice place to come for brunch in the morning!

I love scones, and the ones in the showcase looked so appetizing!!! They're packed with filling inside. A perfect match with coffee.

Does Cafe Pips serve caffeine-free drinks?

Cafe Pips offers a wide range of drinks, from coffee to caffeine-free options. Caffeine late in the day keeps me from sleeping well, so I rarely drink coffee in the afternoon, and I liked this.

Even when I visited in the evening, I could pick another drink instead of coffee without worrying. It's also a good place to visit when you want to skip caffeine but still enjoy the café atmosphere!!

Sipping a coffee and ticking off tasks one by one on my laptop, the time really flew by. I came to work and suddenly a lot of time had passed, which surprised even me, haha. And the coffee and dessert, which a café can't do without, were satisfying too!!

How are the Vanilla Café and blueberry scone at Cafe Pips?

The vanilla café (vanilla latte-style coffee) I ordered at Cafe Pips was sweet without being overwhelming, so it was nice to sip slowly while working, and the scone I had with it was tasty too, a good match with the coffee~

At Cafe Pips you don't just drink coffee: you can open your laptop and work quietly, then take breaks with coffee and dessert in between. I felt it would be a good visit for a day when you want to focus on your tasks in a calm atmosphere rather than a noisy, crowded café. If you're like me and like working from cafés with a laptop or spending quiet time alone, it's worth dropping by once :)

I also picked a blueberry scone to have with my coffee. The blueberry scone at Cafe Pips is slightly plain on the outside, with a crumbly, tender texture inside, and the sweetness of the blueberries here and there makes it tasty even on its own.

The savory flavor typical of a scone, plus the blueberries, gave it a subtly fresh, sweet taste that went well with coffee. Taking a bite, then a sip of coffee, it was gone faster than I expected, haha. I'll be back!!
