Bucheon bakery blueberry cream cheese by the slice: Easy White Bread

These days premium milk bread is so popular that specialty bakeries keep popping up everywhere

A new bakery opened in the restaurant alley near Sinjung-dong Station, so I rushed right over :) I can never resist a new bakery!!!

What is Easy White Bread, the bakery near Sinjung-dong Station in Bucheon?

Easy White Bread's main item is the plain Golden Beurre fresh milk bread, but they also make and sell a variety of premium milk breads in-house, including walnut cranberry rye, chestnut rice cake, olive cheese, and cream castella bread

They also serve all kinds of drinks — special brewing coffee, brewing latte / Easy Latte, strawberry milk blended / real strawberry latte, sunset lemon hibiscus soda, Jeju matcha milk blended / Jeju matcha latte — which was such a nice bonus

Which milk bread cutting thickness should you choose?

The great thing about Easy White Bread near Sinjung-dong Station is that once you pick your flavor, you can also choose the cutting thickness

There are three thickness options: 1.5cm if you're spreading butter or jam, 2cm to enjoy the bread's natural flavor, and 2.5cm for making toast :) If you want to enjoy the bread's texture as is, tearing off a piece from the whole loaf is delicious too 🥰

Handmade jams, cream cheese flavors and cream sandos

Of course milk bread needs jam, and they sell their own high-quality handmade jams. Strawberry butter jam and blueberry butter jam — flavorful handmade jams that are hard to find at other bakeries 🍓

Uniquely, they sell all sorts of cream cheese that you'd usually only see at bagel shops. From plain and blueberry cream cheese to pecan and honey fig cream cheese — all of them looked so good it was hard to pick haha

They also sell peach milk cream sando and apple mango milk cream sando! These sell out fast, so I'd recommend reserving before you visit 🙌🏻

Golden Beurre milk bread Half cut 2cm, plus the brewing machine

The fresh milk bread and cream cheese combo is gorgeous ✨

I ordered the plain Golden Beurre fresh milk bread.

I asked for it cut 2cm thick and they sliced it right away, swish swish! The staff member was so kind, the service felt really pleasant, and I could see a bit into the bakery — the bakers' uniforms and the prep counters were spotless, which gave me a lot of confidence in the hygiene 👍🏻

There's also a premium milk bread brand called White Lily, but the branch I went to didn't sell any drinks, which was disappointing. At Easy White Bread near Sinjung-dong Station, you can drink coffee poured by a brewing machine! A robot machine pouring coffee consistently :) it was fun just to watch

Cream castella bread sold by the slice, with blueberry cream cheese

What I got at this milk bread bakery near Sinjung-dong Station this time was the Golden Beurre milk bread half, brewing coffee, one slice of cream castella bread, and blueberry cream cheese 🫐

Being able to buy just one slice, which White Lily doesn't offer, is really nice! The cream castella bread seems to crumble a lot when cut, so they package and sell it slice by slice, and you can also buy the Golden Beurre by the slice 👍🏻

Thick and full of flavor! Premium milk bread is delicious all the way to the crust, right? Regular milk bread's crust can be kind of dry and dull, but here it's firm with a satisfying chew — totally delicious!

Loading it up with blueberry cream cheese gave a totally different charm from the usual bagel-and-cream-cheese combo 💛 The bread itself is already so good, and the cream cheese is thick and full of flavor too, so good ㅠㅠㅠㅠ If you buy the plain milk bread, definitely get some cream cheese too, I highly recommend it 🤩

It's mainly takeout and packaging, but there's a table on one side and they offer parking support so you can register for free parking, so eating there in-store would be nice too :) You can hear the sound of dough being kneaded diligently and get a warm, friendly welcome from the staff 🥰

For breakfast, as a snack for the kids, or as a thoughtful gift, Easy White Bread is a great pick — have a happy day with it
