Holiday beef BBQ with Dad in Hanam: free stew at Misa Jeongyukwang

My dad and I are both total meat lovers, so over the last holiday we went out for beef! We heard Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2 is famous as a great beef place in Misa, and I'm about to show you how we stuffed ourselves with amazing beef 🤗🤗

Where is Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2, and what about parking?

Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2 Hanam Misa Branch (미사정육왕시즌2 하남미사본점) is right in the center of Misa Station area, on Misagangbyeonjungang-ro. It's close to Misa Station, so it's easy to reach on foot or by public transport.

There's plenty of parking in the basement of Hanam M Tower, and if you tell the staff your car number when you leave, they cover free parking time 🚗

It's a Misa BBQ spot with everything, pork and beef alike~~

There's even a waiting area for guests when there's a queue. You can feel the owner thinking about customers 🫶🫶

Inside Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2: good for a family meal?

The interior is black, modern and stylish 🖤✨️ It's clean and spacious, so I highly recommend it for family gatherings and family dinners in Misa!

If being cheap and delicious is a crime, we're serving a life sentence.

But here... isn't that a serious crime? It's so cheap and so delicious............ haha

The tiny "three great sayings of a good restaurant" on the wall hahahahaha The owner is so funny, isn't he? Full marks for wit;; He's nailed both taste and fun 🤭

There's also a self-serve bar, so you can grab more side dishes whenever you need them! It was stocked generously so nothing ran short, and it was kept clean and hygienic, which I liked.

What we ordered with Dad: 400g raw beef rib finger meat, how was it?

What we ordered at Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2 was 400g of raw beef rib finger meat and a yukhoe bibimbap.

The side dishes were perilla leaf salad, pickled onion, green onion kimchi, pickled garlic stem strips, fresh-tossed rapeseed greens, and vegetables (lettuce wraps and chili peppers). Sides that taste even better with meat, plus fresh veggies! Even the basic sides came out in a table-bending spread.

Out came 400g of good-quality, bright red raw beef rib finger meat. It looks great and there's really a lot, right!!! I never thought there'd be a place this generous among Misa BBQ spots..

Can you see the juices?! 😋 There's a reason it's famous as a Misa beef spot. The raw rib finger meat wasn't tough at all and was so yummy ㅠㅠ

Meat on lettuce, green onion kimchi on top, garlic on top, a wrap made only of things I want to eat!!!! Wow, my mouth was full of flavor... it was no joke. I highly recommend Misa Jeongyukwang as a Hanam BBQ place 👍

Yukhoe bibimbap: worth ordering after the meat?

The yukhoe bibimbap here is a hearty, generous meal packed with seasoned raw beef and vegetables. We charged up on protein with the meat, so we have to have carbs too! You all know Koreans run on rice, right? haha I mixed it up and took a big mouthful, and it was so filling.

Hahaha, see how my dad cleaned out his bowl, it was that good. Definitely order the yukhoe bibimbap.

Free cheongdoenjang stew and dessert ice cream

The owner of Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2 gave us cheongdoenjang stew (strong soybean paste stew) for free. Just as I was mixing the bibimbap and starting to feel a bit choked up, the owner appeared at the perfect moment!! He said it was on the house and quietly set it down..

The broth was savory, rich and deep, so even while eating rice it went down without choking. And the stew was packed with ingredients!!!! I thought this was just a Hanam BBQ place, but it's a stew place too 🙊🙊

After meat, bibimbap and the stew, I was about to burst and resting my heavy body...... and then they even gave us ice cream for dessert for free?!! I was so touched 🥹💕 The cool, sweet soft-serve cleansed the palate and wrapped up the meal perfectly 🍦

Of all the Misa beef restaurants I've been to, Misa Jeongyukwang Season 2 Hanam Misa Branch is number one for friendliness, number one for taste and number one for value, so I highly recommend it 💯
