How do you get to Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch from Beomil Station?
Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch (하누소뒷고기 범일점) is a BBQ place in Beomil-dong, about a 3-minute walk from Exits 2 and 4 of Beomil Station, so it's super easy to visit. It's about a 15-minute walk from our home, so we walked there as a bit of exercise.

It's known as a go-to beef spot in Beomil-dong, and I kept saying "I'll go one day, I'll go one day" every time I passed by. Finally made it! The value is great, so lots of locals come here.

Opening hours and group rooms
It's also nice that Hanuso Dwitgogi is open every day from 16:00 to 23:00. We arrived right at opening time, so we were first in line!
The inside is bigger than you'd expect. While we were eating, a big group came in and headed toward the back, and I was like, huh? Turns out there's a separate room-style space that's great for gatherings!! Group reservations are possible, so it's best to call before you go.

How much is the hanwoo dwitgogi?
The hanwoo dwitgogi (Korean beef "back cuts") at Hanuso is ₩14,900 per 100g. For hanwoo! Is this real?!! The set prices are great too, and the value is amazing.

What we ordered for two
We weren't very hungry today, so this is what we ordered.
- 300g hanwoo dwitgogi
- Kimchi cold noodles (kimchi-malli naengguksu)
- Seafood doenjang (soybean paste) stew for 2 + steamed rice

A fire fueled by corn
The spoons and chopsticks come neatly wrapped, too. Interestingly, Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch says it lights its fire with corn as fuel, which is eco-friendly. I'd never seen that before, so it was fascinating.

They say that out of 1++ grade hanwoo sirloin, Hanuso serves only BMS No. 9 grade to customers. Top-quality beef at a reasonable price, totally great.

The basic spread: yukhoe tasting and beef radish soup
The basic table setting at Hanuso Dwitgogi is on another level. Besides neat, tidy side dishes, if you write a review through a Naver reservation, you get a yukhoe (seasoned raw beef) tasting plate, and beef radish soup comes as standard too.

This yukhoe tasting is not just a tasting... It's crazy, it was so good.

No gamey taste at all and really fresh, so it's perfect with alcohol. The portion is big too, almost one full serving, and I thought, "They give this as a freebie?"
And the spicy beef radish soup included in the basics! Just because it's a basic doesn't mean there's no meat; it's packed with beef. As someone who loves beef radish soup, I enjoyed it a lot with rice.
300g of hanwoo dwitgogi: which cuts did we get?

Our 3 servings (300g) of hanwoo dwitgogi arrived! The assortment looked really nice, so I asked, and they said the dwitgogi at Hanuso varies depending on the condition of the meat that day. We got flap meat (buchaesal) and rib meat (galbisal) that day. The rib meat is so good....

The color was great, the marbling was great, and you could feel the freshness. I was already moved by the side dishes, but seeing the meat, the amount was so big that I asked again, "Is this really 3 servings?" [Seriously, for real]
Beef of this quality at ₩14,900 per serving, and it's near our home, which I loved! It's a place I'd recommend for friends or a family group meal. In fact, a family group arrived while we were there and was guided to a room; from a quick peek, the room looked comfortable and perfect for gatherings!!

Every piece was not tough, with no gamey taste at all, tender and full of nutty richness. For both price and quality, Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch has to be on the list of beef I've had recently!!

Eating it with salt + onion
I like eating it with a little salt and some onion, so I ate almost everything that way. Beef tastes best with just a light sprinkle of salt!

Sides: kimchi cold noodles and seafood doenjang stew
The kimchi cold noodles were what I really wanted to try before coming to Hanuso Dwitgogi. With summer coming I was craving cold noodles, and since I'm a total kimchi lover, I was even more excited. A tangy-sweet broth, plenty of kimchi, plenty of noodles, and that's it!! If you can't decide on a side, I totally recommend the kimchi noodles.
My boyfriend prefers rice over noodles with meat, so he ordered the seafood doenjang stew for 2! It was loaded with vegetables and tofu, with plump crab inside, so it smelled of the sea, and the portion was big enough that we ate for ages. It wasn't too salty or spicy, so even I, a spice wimp, enjoyed it with rice mixed in. There's really a lot inside!!

Coffee after the meal and handy extras
After stuffing ourselves for an hour at Hanuso Dwitgogi, we noticed on the way out that hair ties, toothpicks and fabric deodorizer are provided as standard, and there's coffee too, so people who love coffee after a meal are covered.
Great value near home, really kind staff who explained things well, and we left very happy: that's Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch!! It's a Beomil-dong BBQ place I definitely want to come back to with family or friends in a group next time!!
