Gwangalli brunch café, pre-baby date & kiwi juice: Working Holiday
In short
Working Holiday Millak is a brunch café with Gwangan Bridge views on the 7th floor of Badamaru, Millaksubyeon-ro, Suyeong, Busan. The writer and her husband visited on a weekday for their last date before she gave birth, ordering the panuozzo (17,000 won), pomodoro (18,000 won) and kiwi juice (7,500 won), and she recommends the panuozzo, which comes with pumpkin soup, most strongly. Of all the Gwangalli brunch cafés she has tried, Working Holiday Millak was the best for both food and Gwangan Bridge views.

Why we picked Working Holiday Millak in Gwangalli for our last date before the baby
Working Holiday Millak is a Gwangalli brunch café with the Gwangan Bridge right in view. I went with my husband for our very, truly, absolutely last Gwangalli date before I give birth! I'd heard the interior, the Gwangalli ocean view and the Gwangan Bridge view were the best, so I went for a change of mood!
Of all the Gwangalli brunch cafés I've been to, Working Holiday was my favorite. The food and the Gwangan Bridge view were both the best.

You can park in the underground lot behind the building!! Few cafés or restaurants in Gwangalli have parking, so I was really happy they offer it.
The moment you step in, you get this wide-open window and a wide-open sea view, so your mood lifts right at the door,, haha

Seating and interior at Working Holiday Millak
There was plenty of room on the ocean-view side, even for groups. With the Gwangan Bridge right there, Working Holiday Millak is just perfect for pizza and brunch.

The interior at Working Holiday Millak was honestly the best. However I looked at it, it was so, so stylish ㅠㅠㅠ!!! It's not just a place to eat: you can have even a single coffee while looking at the sea, and it's great for brunch or for bringing a laptop to work.

With the atmosphere Working Holiday brings from Australian café culture, it's a really great space for brunch, for a beer in the evening, or for a cup of coffee.

The interior was really so stylish, and if anyone asks me for a Gwangalli café recommendation, I can recommend this place with total confidence. Friends, are you reading this? I really highly recommend this one.
Outdoor seats with a close-up view of the Gwangan Bridge
You can also step outside at Working Holiday in Millak-dong. The outdoor seating is well set up, and it's a lovely spot where you can see the Gwangan Bridge up close. A Gwangalli ocean-view gem.. !!!!!!! A wide-open ocean view, and the Gwangan Bridge right in front of you.

How were the panuozzo, pomodoro and kiwi juice?
Panuozzo ₩17,000 (highly recommended!!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
The panuozzo at Working Holiday comes with pumpkin soup as standard, and it was honestly so, so good. It's a must-order every time I go back! It's a sandwich made with pizza dough kneaded in-house at Working Holiday Millak, so there's no way it could be bad. Inside the wood-fired dough are jambon ham, mozzarella and arugula, with basil pesto spread on generously.
Pomodoro ₩18,000
The most basic tomato pomodoro pasta, with all of the tomato's natural sweetness and freshness. It's also vegetarian-friendly: spaghetti, tomato sauce, basil, pepper and virgin olive oil, topped with a whole ball of fresh burrata cheese. It was a tasty, basic tomato pasta.
Kiwi juice ₩7,500
The kiwi juice, made by blending fresh kiwi, went so well with the brunch dishes and was refreshingly good.

To eat such generous, delicious food while looking at the Gwangan Bridge sea view,, the best, the best. The combo of tomato pasta, sandwich and fresh kiwi juice was 💯 amazing.
The pumpkin soup that came with the panuozzo was good too. It felt closer to pumpkin porridge than soup..!

So much jambon ham inside,, the panuozzo is a truly, completely highly recommended dish, so please do try it.

The combination of ham and cheese inside the bread, with tomato and basil pesto, was honestly the best.

It was generously filled and tasty without being heavy-handed, so it was exactly my style!
Who should visit Working Holiday Millak?
After a delicious weekday brunch, we walked a full loop of the Gwangan Bridge area! I really highly recommend Working Holiday Millak if you're staying near Gwangalli and want brunch, if you want a date by the sea, or if you want a meal and coffee at a Gwangalli hot spot!
