Why I went to Bueokgan at the Gijang outlet on a weekday evening

Bueokgan Restaurant at the Shinsegae Premium Outlets in Busan is a Western restaurant I came away totally satisfied with after a shopping trip to the Gijang outlet ✨ When I visited on a weekend before, it was so packed and chaotic that I remember going through hell from parking all the way to the meal,,

I really can't stand those messy weekend waits, so this time I aimed for a weekday evening and visited at a relaxed pace, shopping along the way :) And yes, on a weekday evening there was none of that draining weekend feeling. It was quiet, yet the shops still had a nice bit of life in them. The outlet stores were full of new autumn arrivals 🍁

But strangely, why do the men's clothes look so much prettier than the women's? I browsed for ages and had a lovely time shopping!

When I finished shopping and got hungry, I headed to Bueokgan!!!! It's laid out to fit the Shinsegae outlet shopping route perfectly, so it was really easy to get to before and after the meal~

Where is Bueokgan in the Shinsegae outlet?

Bueokgan is at the innermost end of NORTH 1F, on the left as you enter Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets :) It's right in front of the UGG store, just inside the escalator!

A wine shop and the SYSTEM store sit side by side right next to it, so it's easy to spot. The entrance is stylish and clean from the start, so it looked perfectly fine for a date, a family meal or a group gathering~

Bueokgan's free corkage and kids zone

One of the biggest perks of Bueokgan is the free corkage 🍷 Up to 3 bottles at no charge, apparently, which is huge news for wine lovers, right? There's a wine shop right next door too, so you could buy a wine you like and enjoy it with the Western dishes. Perfect, hehe

On top of that, it's a kids zone restaurant, so no worries about bringing a child, and families can relax here too ✅

What was the weekday evening atmosphere at Bueokgan like?

Even though closing time was still a way off, only one table was eating in the Bueokgan hall that weekday evening. I felt a little awkward about it, but thanks to that I could eat in a much more relaxed, quiet atmosphere ><

Bueokgan says it aims to be not just a restaurant but "an experience where space and gastronomy are completed together." There's a generous range of Western dishes, including signature dishes and seasonal limited menus.

"Next time I'm definitely trying the pastas!" I vowed~

What did I order at Bueokgan?

At Bueokgan I ordered the signature cabbage Caesar salad, the basic pumpkin soup that warms you up inside, a basil margherita pizza, and a refreshing orange juice 🍽️

Bueokgan's pumpkin soup was the best way to whet the appetite before the mains^,~ The mild, smooth flavor of the pumpkin wraps your stomach in comfort 🎃

Cabbage Caesar salad

The Bueokgan signature cabbage Caesar salad was the one I was most curious about, and the baby cabbage was cooked just right, so the texture was excellent 🥗 The sauce goes with it perfectly, a flawless combination~

Basil margherita pizza

Maybe it's the fresh ingredients and Bueokgan's own know-how, but the flavor of the basil margherita pizza is really deep and distinctive, isn't it? Chewy dough, loads of cheese 🍕🧀 and fragrant basil make a great combination. A top pizza spot in Gijang, agreed?

Is Bueokgan at the Gijang outlet worth recommending?

Thanks to the large parking area, comfortable interior and quick, steady service, Bueokgan is a good place to stop before or after shopping!
