Where exactly is Fluffy Bake Shop near Gongdeok Station?

Fluffy Bake Shop is near Gongdeok Station Exit 2, in the building right behind Lotte City Hotel Mapo. It wasn't hard to find from the station — head to the building behind Lotte City Hotel Mapo and the sign catches your eye right away, that's Fluffy Bake Shop :)

The vibe and seating at Fluffy Bake Shop

The inside of Fluffy Bake Shop isn't huge, but it's cute and has a few seats, so it was nice to eat there instead of taking everything to go 😊

There were little decorative touches everywhere, it almost felt like a knick-knack shop haha

Visiting an hour before closing — is there anything left?

When I got to Fluffy Bake Shop about an hour before closing, there wasn't a huge selection of desserts left 😥 But luckily the Earl Grey canelé and hallabong madeleine I wanted were still there, so I grabbed them right away 🙌

True to being a dessert specialty shop, Fluffy Bake Shop had a huge range of madeleines ❗ As a certified madeleine addict I wanted basically everything, but I tried to narrow it down (kind of) 🧐

Honestly I'd already grabbed an Earl Grey canelé so I was going to skip the Earl Grey madeleine. But everyone who came after me kept taking the Earl Grey madeleines, so when I saw the last one I just snatched it right up lol

The salt bread looked amazing too and I wanted to grab one, but this time I decided to stick with just madeleines and canelés :)

How I ordered — Fluffy Bake Shop menu prices

I ordered three kinds of madeleines, two kinds of canelé, and two drinks at Fluffy Bake Shop. All the madeleines were ₩3,600, and only the vanilla canelé was ₩3,400. Here's what I picked ❗

How much does gift box packaging cost?

At Fluffy Bake Shop, paying an extra ₩500 gets you a 4-piece box, and an extra ₩2,500 gets you a 6-piece box plus a shopping bag. The boxes are so pretty that if you're buying for a gift, I'd say go for the boxed option 👍

At the time of my visit, they were also running an event giving out a free vanilla canelé for writing a receipt review, so make sure to join in if it's still running 🙌

How was the Fluffy cream latte and vanilla madeleine?

They brought my order over to my table, and isn't it just so cute and lovely,,,💗

I packed up four items to take home and just ate the vanilla madeleine in the shop. I also ordered an Americano and a Fluffy cream latte to drink alongside it 😋

The Fluffy cream latte was pure sweet cream latte — if you mix the cream on top with the milk underneath as you drink it, it tastes even better :)

The vanilla madeleine was just the right amount of sweet and so soft and fluffy, really delicious 😋

Is the packed madeleine still good the next day?

I ate the rest of what I packed from Fluffy Bake Shop at home the next day, and even a day later it was still so good ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Personally I think the hallabong madeleine is an absolute must-buy,,, there's a hallabong jam(?) on top that's sweet and tangy at the same time, an absolute treat,,,💗

I meant to save it and savor it slowly, but the moment I took this photo I ended up eating the whole thing alone on the spot lol. If you're looking for a dessert hotspot near Gongdeok, I highly recommend Fluffy Bake Shop 🙌
