How did I find a good lash perm place in Jeonpo?

I picked Double D, a lash perm salon in Jeonpo, after comparing lots of blog before-and-after photos. Short version: if you're looking for a good lash perm in Jeonpo, go to Double D!

Another lash perm, you say? That means a trip is coming up~~ Trip prep = a lash perm, a must ☺️ Before getting one I always look at several salons, and my tip for finding a good one is to read tons of blog reviews. Most blogs have before-and-after photos, so if I check several and the curls look springy and well done? Then it passes!! That's how I found Double D in Jeonpo.

Where is Double D, and what about parking?

Double D is a 3-minute walk from Bujeon Station Exit 4, on the 2nd floor of the same building as Monkey Brown restaurant (Unam Building). Since it's in Jeonpo, there's no parking space, so I'd recommend a nearby paid lot or public transport.

Double D is right next to the hair salon on the 2nd floor, so just open the door on the right side of the hair salon and come in! The owner was super friendly and greeted me with a big smile the moment I walked in.

What is the atmosphere at Double D like?

Double D is decorated in white tones and is super clean. It's actually quite a bit bigger than it looks from outside, and the white interior makes it look even tidier.

There's a roomy spot where you can sit and wait comfortably, and it felt a bit like walking into a prettily staged model home! I came on time, so I didn't use the waiting area.

There's also a spot where you can drink water, coffee or tea, and mirrors placed here and there so you can check your look right after the treatment.

The area beyond this partition wall is Double D's lash treatment space.

There are 2 beds in the treatment area. Neatly kept.

How do you discuss the curl you want?

At Double D, you first fill out a lash perm customer chart, then talk through the curl you want using the chart. I didn't want an unnaturally sharp bend; I wanted something natural but with a curl that's still noticeable, and the owner captured that really well 👍🏻

Double D lash perm time and the motion bed

The Double D lash perm took about 1 hour, I think. The beds in the treatment area are motion beds, and they were so comfortable during the perm. You can adjust the angle without moving your body much, which was really comfy and convenient. Maybe because it was so comfortable, I of course fell into a deep sleep haha

Here's the before and after of my finished Double D lash perm. The curl turned out so pretty, right? 🫢 I'd had a perm about 2 months ago, and it had been loosening and sticking out everywhere, really messy, but now it's done and I'm so happy with it! The owner also tidied my brows~ so kind. I really do think the way to find a good lash perm place is to look at lots of blog review photos first~
