Pumpkin tea for late-pregnancy swelling: Hulhul Light Pumpkin Tea
In short

A writer in her tenth month of pregnancy, whose fingers and feet swelled in the final month, steeped Hulhul Light Pumpkin Tea in cold water in a 2-liter water bottle and drank about 1.5 liters a day instead of water, and felt a clear difference in finger swelling between days she drank it and days she didn't. Why did a full-term mom choose Hulhul Light Pumpkin Tea?
Hullhull Pumpkin Tea (Hullhull 가벼운 호박차) is a pumpkin tea I tried for late-pregnancy swelling, and the swelling went down fast enough that I'm recommending it. I'm a ten-months-pregnant mom who goes around eating at good restaurants every day, since you never know when the signal will come, haha.
I'm sure every pregnant mom gets super stressed about swelling in the last month, ㅠㅠ. I'd managed swelling steadily since early pregnancy, but once I hit the final month I started puffing up bit by bit, my finger joints got tight and swollen, and my feet ballooned. Total meltdown,, so the new thing I tried was Hullhull Pumpkin Tea, hahaha.
When pregnant women pick a swelling tea, what we really have to check hard is caffeine and additives, right? Hullhull Pumpkin Tea is said to hold natural pumpkin with no harmful ingredients or artificial additives, so it's a mild tea you can drink instead of water with peace of mind from early pregnancy all the way to full term!

3 things to like about Hulhul Light Pumpkin Tea
1. Swelling care for a puffy late-pregnancy body
I drink Hullhull Pumpkin Tea warm in the morning, and during the day I drop ice in it to stay hydrated. You all know aged pumpkin is good for reducing swelling! The feeling in my fingers is clearly different on days I drink it versus days I don't! As I keep drinking, the gaps between my fingers open up again, hahaha!

2. Nutty, mildly sweet taste without a heavy aftertaste
Hullhull Pumpkin Tea blends aged pumpkin with oat, brown rice and rooibos, and it definitely tastes good! I rarely reach for pumpkin teas with a dry, bitter finish, but this one has pumpkin's gentle sweetness, the nutty flavor of brown rice and oat, and the fresh note of rooibos, all blended smoothly, so I never get tired of it and keep drinking!
I can't drink plain water well, but once I steep one tea bag, drinking water becomes so easy, hahaha. This way I drink about 1.5 liters a day!

3. Triangle tea bags that steep well in cold water
Even without hot water, Hullhull Pumpkin Tea steeps really strong and fast the moment it hits cold water! Being full term, my body is burning up, so I always drink it cold, iced-americano style, haha.
Sometimes I put one bag in a cup, and sometimes I drop it in a water bottle and keep it in the fridge. It steeps quickly, so I can take it out of the fridge nice and cold!

Hulhul Light Pumpkin Tea packaging and tea bags
Let me show you the packaging of Hullhull Pumpkin Tea first~!

Hullhull Pumpkin Tea comes in a light plastic pouch with 20 tea bags, haha. The packaging reminds you of an orange pumpkin, doesn't it?

It's a tea that lets you enjoy the flavor of pumpkin and whole grains as they are! You can use hot or cold water, haha. Aged pumpkin, brown rice, oat and rooibos are blended, so it's nutty~ haha. It's all natural ingredients, so apparently both pregnant and nursing moms can drink it! It's a safe tea, which is why I chose it too!
The bags are triangle-shaped, and the filter is PLA biodegradable, and microplastics were reportedly not detected! An even safer tea bag, haha.

Can you cold-brew pumpkin tea in a 2-liter water bottle?
Each Hullhull Pumpkin Tea bag is 2 grams, so you can steep it in a 2-liter water bottle. Regular tea bags are 1–1.5 grams, but this one is 2 grams, so you can steep it several times, or even in a big 2-liter bottle of water! Haha, this is how I mostly drink it. It's plenty strong, and the swelling just melts away, haha.

On mornings when I'm especially swollen and miserable, one cold glass of Hullhull Pumpkin Tea sends me to the bathroom within an hour, and I feel the swelling and waste flowing right out, haha.

How long does one pack last, and where to buy it?
One package of Hullhull Pumpkin Tea has 20 tea bags, and it easily lasts a month! When I finish a package, I think, 'Oh, a month has gone by~!' haha.
I hear it recently launched at Olive Better too! You can also buy it in the Olive Young app, haha.
Why I'll keep drinking pumpkin tea after giving birth
Hullhull Pumpkin Tea managed my swelling so well during pregnancy that it's already packed in my hospital bag, haha. I plan to keep drinking it at the postpartum care center too! I hear the ingredients are good for both pregnant and nursing moms, so I'll drink it with peace of mind during my post-birth diet period too~!! haha
My husband has also fallen for my swelling item lately and steals a cup every morning, LOL. His swelling goes down in real time too, LOL.
Hullhull Pumpkin Tea, I totally recommend it as a swelling item for pregnant moms~! Give it a try. It's completely different from drinking plain water!!!! Really!!
