I visited FLU:ET, a new dessert spot in Sajik-dong.

I was wondering which dessert to bring home as a snack for my daughter, and the choux (cream puffs) stuffed with cream caught my eye.

I took home three kinds, tiramisu choux, cream cheese apple choux and plain choux, and ate them with my daughter. One of them won over both of us. Let me tell you which choux tasted best.
What kind of place is FLU:ET in Sajik-dong?
FLU:ET (프루엣) is a dessert shop at 54 Sajik-ro 70beon-gil, Dongnae-gu, Busan, on the 1st floor, run by a chef with a hotel background. It is open Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00 and closed every Sunday. There is no parking, and it offers takeout and simple mobile payment.

The shop had many kinds of choux ready, and it also sells ades and fruit syrups (cheong), which would be nice to have with a dessert.

FLU:ET says it uses French fresh cream and New Zealand butter. It's clearly a place that cares about ingredients, so I was looking forward to the taste.

The shop was also running a no-blank prize draw event. You get to pick your dessert and have a little fun too, which I liked.

Which FLU:ET choux did I pick?
What I took home was 2 plain choux, 1 tiramisu choux and 1 cream cheese apple choux. They all looked so good that I couldn't decide, but the owner explained each flavor and how sweet it was in detail, which helped a lot in choosing.

I decided to save the Earl Grey choux and Boseong matcha choux for next time and start with the most basic ones this time.

Plain choux: a basic flavor that isn't overly sweet
The plain choux is the most basic one, filled with crème pâtissière. One bite and you get plenty of soft cream.

The taste was clean and not too sweet, so it was easy to eat. If you like choux that stick to the basics, you could start with the plain one.
Tiramisu choux: coffee cream and mascarpone cream
The tiramisu choux has coffee cream and mascarpone cream. It tasted a little sweeter than the plain choux, and the two creams together seemed a good match for people who like sweet desserts.

The added coffee flavor gave it a different charm from the basic choux.
Cream cheese apple choux: the pick of both mother and daughter
Of the three choux we tried at FLU:ET, the cream cheese apple choux was the one my daughter and I enjoyed most.

It has homemade apple jam, cheesecake cream and fresh cream. You can chew the apple pieces in the jam, which gave a nice texture, and with the soft cheesecake cream on top, I really loved the combination.

The fresh taste of apple on top of the sweet cream meant it didn't get tiresome. My daughter ate it well too, so it's one I'd want to take home again next time.
How do you store FLU:ET choux?
I was told FLU:ET choux are best eaten on the same day.

If you eat them the same day, keep them in the fridge; if you plan to eat them later, freeze them and thaw at room temperature.

If you take home several, I'd refrigerate only what you'll eat and freeze the rest to take out later.
Verdict: FLU:ET choux as a kids' snack in Sajik-dong

I took home three kinds of choux from FLU:ET in Sajik-dong and ate them with my daughter.

From the clean plain choux full of crème pâtissière to the sweet tiramisu choux, each had its own charm.

The most memorable was the cream cheese apple choux. I liked the combination of chunky apple jam and soft cheesecake cream, and since it was also my daughter's favorite, I was even happier.

If you want to take home a kids' snack or a sweet dessert in Sajik-dong, stop by FLU:ET and pick the choux that suits your taste. Comparing the three is part of the fun, so try finding your favorite flavor.
