Surabanjeom Gaya Branch is a Chinese restaurant near Gaya Park and Dongui University Station in Busanjin, Busan. The set of large jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), shrimp fried rice and mini tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) costs 30,000 won, and dipping the glutinous-rice tangsuyuk in sesame salt turned out to be the best way to eat it, with the 5- and 7-year-olds cleaning their plates. Free rice bowls and one hour of parking support at Taeyang Parking Lot make Surabanjeom Gaya Branch a family meal spot worth returning to.

Jeonpo-dong curry restaurant with floor seating for kids: Sarugak20

Sarugak20 is a basement curry restaurant in Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan, about 210m from Jeonpo Station Exit 8. The family sat at a low floor table with their kids and shared brisket cream curry (₩11,000) and the special curry (₩12,000) topped with a poached egg, sausage and cheese, plus a ₩4,000 tonkatsu side. Sarugak20 is an easy, filling lunch stop in Jeonpo-dong when you have children with you.
