Lately I wanted to get out of the stuffy city and feel some open nature. I heard about a big Uijeongbu café with easy parking and a pretty view, so I went. It was much cozier than I expected, indoor dogs are welcome, and I came back properly recharged, so let me walk you through it in detail!
Forerest location and parking: 181 Nokyang-ro, 100+ cars
Forerest is a large café on Nokyang-ro in Uijeongbu. It has a dedicated lot for more than 100 cars, so it's a great place to visit by car. Turn in slightly from the main road and a wide open space spreads out, so it's easy to find.

The exterior already feels like a mountain lodge in nature, and my mood lifted the moment I arrived.

Railway-themed entrance and converted-house seating

Inside, the twist in the interior amazed me. Open the door and you're greeted by an entrance themed like walking along a railway track, haha.

Further in, a lush green forest view stretches out beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. Because it's a converted house with a unique layout, every room has its own little charm.

The spaces that look like former rooms have everything from group seats to two-person seats, so it's perfect for gatherings or dates.
How to order and busy times
You order directly at the counter at Forerest. On weekends and at peak times it gets crowded, so I'd recommend arriving a bit early.

The staff were friendly too, so even as a first-timer I had no trouble at all. It's an easy system for everyone, young and old.

The menu is neatly organized. There's a good variety of coffee, lattes and non-coffee drinks, and the signature desserts caught my eye. Prices are reasonable for a big Uijeongbu café, so choosing felt really stress-free.
Iced americano, flat white and black sesame Basque cheesecake

Our order finally arrived: an iced americano, a flat white and a black sesame Basque cheesecake.

The americano had no sourness, just nutty and strong, a perfect match for a sweet dessert.

The flat white, with its smooth milk foam and espresso flavor, was a work of art.

The black sesame Basque cheesecake made me gasp after one bite. It's dense and rich, and the nutty black sesame flavor fills your whole mouth, so my spoon just wouldn't stop.
Chatting with friends over drinks alongside it was so nice.

Take a bite of the bittersweet dessert, then sip cold coffee, and it's pure heaven.
Who Forerest is recommended for

Both the taste and the portions at Forerest were great, and above all the roomy parking meant I could visit without any stress.

It's a place where you can relax in an interior that embraces nature. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind with an open view, or who's looking for a spot to meet up.

It's great with parents or a partner, and since indoor dogs are allowed, it's also really nice for spending a quiet time with your pup. ✨🐶
Thanks to this big Uijeongbu café, this weekend's fatigue feels completely gone. I hope you'll escape your stuffy routine and visit once too!
