I really love baked sweets! I heard there's a café in Seorae Village famous for its atmosphere, so I went to check it out. 🤎 It's Remangdore Seorae Village Branch (레망도레 서래마을점), a dessert spot in Seorae Village! I was so excited about the desserts that I hurried right in :)

Remangdore Seorae Village Branch is at 9-3 Sapyeong-daero 26-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul (1st floor), on Seorae Village's main street. It's an easy walk from Express Bus Terminal Station, so access is really good.

The simple ivory exterior reminded me of a street dessert shop in Paris, and it brought back travel memories after a long time, haha.

The inside of Remangdore Seorae Village Branch has a warm, calm mood themed around white, red and merbau wood tones. The moment I stepped in, there was a surprise twist... haha ✨ The atmosphere is amazing.

The seating comes in different styles, the window seats are quiet and peaceful, and the tables are spaced widely, so it feels perfect for a chat. 👍 It's good enough for a date, too!

At Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, you pick the desserts you want yourself and order at the counter. As a popular Seorae Village dessert spot, quite a few people even line up before opening. They bake the bread in the shop, so the whole entrance smells wonderfully nutty.

Baked sweets and gift sets

The range of baked sweets is huge, from madeleines and financiers (small almond-butter cakes) to croissants! They looked like works of art.

The gift sets are put together so prettily, too, perfect when you're stuck on what to give as a thank-you present.

This time I picked a cool iced Americano and a nutty flat white, and ordered a caramel bun and a nutmeg financier too!

From the first bite of Remangdore's nutmeg financier, wow, the rich nutty flavor filling my mouth was crazy. Crisp outside, moist inside, what a texture! The subtle nutmeg aroma balances it perfectly.

You can feel the care that goes into making everything by hand, and I felt great the whole time I was eating.

At Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, the staff even cut the bread into bite-size pieces for us.

I liked that you can choose your coffee beans, Noir or Blanc, to suit your taste :) Personally, I found the nutty Noir beans just right for pairing with desserts.
