Seorae Village café date: Sangha Farm ice cream float at Remangdore

While strolling around Seorae Village (서래마을) on a date, I spotted a café selling baked-goods gift sets and bookmarked it. This time I finally went! It's called Remangdore. It's already well known as a Seorae Village dessert spot, and it has other branches too. They sell baked-goods gift sets in the ₩20,000 range, and you can buy them online as well, so they seem perfect as thank-you gifts.

Remangdore sits on the corner across from Paris 15th Arrondissement Park (파리15구공원) in Seorae Village. The location is really great.

The inside is tidy and prettily decorated, and it gave me the feeling of a well-done brand. We wanted to enjoy the fresh green view, so we sat next to the big window!

Eating tasty desserts while looking out at the lush green park was so healing, and the mood was lovely!

At Remangdore, a café in Seorae Village, I ordered an ice cream float, an iced Americano and a vanilla madeleine. The ice cream float (₩8,500) is what I remember most.

This was seriously good, wow... I heard they use Sangha Farm (상하목장) ice cream, and maybe that's why, but the flavor was clearly different.

You know that rich taste of milk with no water mixed in? Clean yet nutty, so delicious, and they gave a lot more ice cream than I expected. It's not just a little scoop perched on top of a latte. Worth the ₩8,500!

As it melts a little and mixes with the coffee, it turns into a premium version of a Deowisanyang (더위사냥, a coffee ice bar) slush! No wonder it's the signature at this Seorae Village café. I'll be getting the ice cream float again next time.

Iced Americano (₩5,500)

The iced Americano at Remangdore is a clean style with well-balanced acidity, so it went perfectly with the madeleine.

Vanilla madeleine (₩3,000)

The vanilla madeleine at Remangdore is lightly crisp outside and moist inside,

with a strong butter aroma and vanilla bean specks all through it, totally my style. You can buy online too, so I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a baked-goods gift set in the ₩20,000 range as a thank-you gift!

If you're looking for a Seorae Village café with parking, definitely put Remangdore on your list! I especially hope you'll try the ice cream float, and the strawberry matcha latte called 'Norwegian Wood' is another menu item I'm curious to try.
