Where is MUG, and what is the space like?

MUG (카페 먹) is a large bakery café at 90 Hyangsandagae-ro, Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan. Its posted hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and there is a parking lot.

I heard that this land had grown landscaping trees for more than 20 years before it was damaged by a wildfire. Trees were replanted and paths were made, eventually becoming the café it is today.

At first, the dark, deep-toned charred wood throughout the café simply looked like an interior material. Once I learned it had been chosen to remember the landscaping trees lost in the wildfire and that time, the space felt different to me.

The original post says bubbles are blown from 1 to 3 PM on weekends. It was useful information to keep in mind when visiting with a child.

What stayed with me was that this was a space made by planting trees again on land that still held traces of the fire.

Is the interior a good place to rest and enjoy natural views?

It was a pleasant place to walk around briefly, sit down, and rest. Knowing the story behind the space also made looking around more interesting.
