An honest review of Jinhae Siktak (진해식탁), a Western restaurant in Jinhae that's great for a date over pasta and steak.

For a special day with your partner or family, here's my honest review of the pasta and steak I had at Jinhae Siktak, a Western restaurant in Jinhae.

The dishes are made with real care, so it's perfect for a date or if you're looking for a place for a group gathering.
What we ordered at Jinhae Siktak and what it cost
I tried two of the signature dishes myself: the top blade steak (₩32,900) and the ham basil cream pasta (₩16,900).

- Top blade steak ₩32,900
- Ham basil cream pasta ₩16,900
How good is the top blade steak at Jinhae Siktak?

As a proper Western restaurant, Jinhae Siktak has plenty of pasta, risotto, steak and more, so it's easy to pick what suits you.
The top blade steak (₩32,900) in the middle of the table was the star. From the moment it arrived, the perfect look and rich beefy aroma got my appetite going.

The thick-cut steak is crisply seared outside, and inside it's full of juices with an appetizing soft pink color.
It cuts so smoothly with just a light touch of the knife that you can tell right away how tender the meat is, right?

Cut into bite-size pieces and put in your mouth, every chew bursts with that savory beef flavor that spreads through your whole mouth, and it melts away without a single tough bit. With several garnishes and a zingy whole-grain mustard, I could finish the very last piece without getting tired of it.
What does Jinhae Siktak's jambon basil cream pasta taste like?

Next was the ham basil cream pasta (₩16,900), served with rigatoni, a dish that delights both the eyes and the mouth.

Thin, wide slices of jambon (Korean-style cured ham) are piled generously like flower petals on top of a rich, fresh green basil cream sauce, and the color is overwhelming.

The thick, rich cream sauce and the fragrance of basil soak into every nook of the rigatoni, so the flavor is fantastic. It's a pasta you can't help but fall for.
Jinhae Siktak's interior: can you see the sea?

Jinhae Siktak is a restaurant with a white-and-wood interior and the sea visible through big windows. The space itself has a warm, charming feel.

Inside, clean white and calm wood tones blend together nicely for a mood that's modern yet comfortable!

Best of all, it's designed with wide glass windows on every side, so it never feels stuffy and has a wonderfully open feel. You can see the sea outside the windows, and the view is a work of art.
Where to park at Jinhae Siktak

There's a dedicated parking lot on the ground floor of the building, and you can also park along the roadside nearby, so you can drive here without worry.
