Yangsan Korean restaurant: chicken noodle soup at Eonyang Dak Kalguksu

Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Tongdosa Branch is a Korean restaurant near Tongdosa in Yangsan, Gyeongnam. After the Tongdosa stamp tour, I had chicken kalguksu, chicken gomtang, and chewy dumplings with spicy kimchi. Verdict: a warming, filling stop before or after a Tongdosa outing.

Bakery café with mountain views in Ulju, Ulsan: MUG

MUG is a large bakery café in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju, Ulsan, where I had two kinds of cinnamon rolls and drinks while looking out at the Yeongnam Alps. The apple compote texture and tangy lemon glaze stood out, but window seats are competitive and breads can sell out in the afternoon.
