How to find Sarugak20 from Jeonpo Station Exit 8

Sarugak20 is about a 5-minute walk from Jeonpo Station Exit 8. It's located up a hill, so it felt a bit like finding a hidden spot.

The restaurant is in the basement, but once you actually go down the stairs, the vibe is quite different from a typical basement spot. That made the name 'Jeonpo basement curry restaurant' feel almost amusing 😳

Small decorative pieces are placed around the entrance, so the space felt charming and cute from the moment you step in.

Seating wasn't just one style. There are 4-person tables, a larger table for groups, cozy floor seating, and on one side, bar-style seats good for eating alone.

So it never felt awkward eating solo here, and it also worked fine for lunch with a friend or a casual date.

What stood out was that natural light came in through the window-side seats, so it barely felt like a basement at all ☀️

Adding the crispy pork cutlet and soft scrambled egg on top gave different textures within a single plate, so you could enjoy a variety of combinations. Dipping the pork cutlet lightly into the curry was, as always, a can't-miss combo 😋

If you're ordering several dishes to share, the half-and-half curry works well too. Instead of choosing just one flavor, you can taste two curries on one plate and compare their flavors, which was fun.

The portion also wasn't too much to handle alongside other dishes, so it was a good side item when ordering multiple things.
