Slowway Coffee Bundang Seohyeon branch is a newly opened, large two-floor café near Seohyeon Station. I'd been looking for a café with a good atmosphere around Seohyeon lately, and that's how I found it. The door stands out right from the outside, so you'll probably glance at it even when just walking past!! Once I visited, the spacious feel and stylish interior really caught my eye.

You can use not just the first floor but the second floor too, so there's plenty of seating, and corners all over the café are styled like photo zones. It looked great for dates, working or meetups. Let me walk you through everything, from the exterior and interior to the desserts and drinks.

What is the first-floor lounge at Slowway Coffee like?

The entrance has a standout minimalist design, with a gray wall door that made me curious about what's inside, haha.

The main space on the first floor feels like a hotel lounge, thanks to the high ceiling and curved lighting~ The white-tone interior makes the space look even bigger.

These are the sofa seats in front of the big windows. Natural light pours in, so it's a great spot for photos, and a relaxing place to enjoy coffee~

Sunlight fills the windows and the natural light was sooo pretty. 💛 And there are plants placed here and there too 🌿

This is the view of the central space. There's a generous mix of seating, and the high ceiling gives it an open feel~^^ It's a nice atmosphere for chatting with friends.

This spot looks good even for a group~ The bits of greenery you can see in between are a highlight 💚 There are also 2-person seats further inside~

The ordering area has soft purple LED lighting that adds a stylish touch~ Even the ordering space has an impressive, sensibly designed interior!

Is the second floor of Slowway Coffee good for laptop work?

The second floor has soft lighting and a relatively quiet mood, so it was easy to focus. Off to the second floor we go~

There's also a space separated by glass partitions, perfect for small gatherings or conversation~ I saw guests working or studying too.

The corridor-style seating area on the second floor has sofas and tables, and feels cozy.

The sofa seating area on one side has fluffy cream-colored sofas and glass tables, a comfortable spot to enjoy coffee. With the art objets on the wall and indirect lighting, it even had a gallery-like feel.

The window seating area has gently streaming daylight and modern lighting, so it's calm~ I think you could visit alone without feeling awkward at all~

Interior highlight: the speaker objets

Inside there's a speaker displayed in a transparent dome design, and it really caught my eye!! It blends naturally into the interior like an objet. If you love music, it's a spot that's worth a look.

There's a speaker by the windows too. Gentle music flows along with the smell of coffee~.~

On another side there's a speaker in vivid red. It stands out even more against the white-tone interior! The owner must be really into speakers, lol

The ube coconut latte at Slowway Coffee is smooth at first sip, and the coconut aroma hits you right away! It's nutty and has a gentle flavor~

The coconut scent is rich~ If you like coconut, I think you'll be happy with it.

How does the Earl Grey chocolate latte taste?

With the Earl Grey chocolate latte at Slowway Coffee, the chocolate flavor comes first, then the fragrant scent of Earl Grey rises up.

The sweetness of chocolate and the black tea aroma blend naturally, a charm definitely different from a regular chocolate latte! It's sweet yet upscale, so chocolate drink fans will be happy with it~

How does the teddy chocolate cake taste?

The teddy chocolate cake (₩9,800) at Slowway Coffee was a dessert whose cute little bear look caught my eye first~ 🧸

Rich chocolate cream sits between moist chocolate sponge layers, so the texture is dense yet soft. You can really taste the deep chocolate~

Even one slice was very satisfying.

Slowway Coffee never felt stuffy thanks to the high ceiling and big space, and with the big windows letting in natural light and the stylish lighting design, photos come out well wherever you shoot. The first floor has an open, lounge feel while the second floor is quiet and cozy, so you can choose a seat depending on why you came, which was a plus! The drinks weren't just pretty either; each had a distinct personality.

Overall, the space, atmosphere, drinks and dessert were all satisfying~ It's a good place when you're looking for a date spot, want to spend relaxed time with friends, or want to work quietly on a laptop. If you're looking for a big café with a nice atmosphere in Bundang, Slowway Coffee Bundang Seohyeon branch is worth a visit~
