A warm, relaxed interior and mood

Step inside and you find white exposed brick and roomy wooden tables spread throughout. There are two-seaters as well as larger wooden tables for four to six, making it a great mood for small brunch gatherings or casual dates haha. Aperol bottles and vases of fresh flowers scattered around gave it the lively feel of a small European bistro.

Before the meal, we tried some cold drinks first — one topped with rich cream foam and lemon zest, and a tea-ade with cinnamon sticks and orange slices, both of which gave our appetites a refreshing kick-start haha.

The first main dish was the Spicy Lemon Anchovy Pasta. The anchovy's distinctive savoriness and the olive oil's flavor were fully soaked into the spaghetti rather than sitting on top. Crisp endive leaves were topped with salty jamón, sweet fruit (peach), tart raspberries, and dill, sitting on a smooth yogurt-based dressing at the bottom — really clean to pick up piece by piece like finger food.

The last star of the meal was the one I'd been most looking forward to: Grandma's Lasagna. It comes out in a square baking dish packed with ragu sauce and cheese baked to a golden brown — the stretchy cheese pull the moment it arrived was already a win haha. The meaty tomato meat sauce carried a hearty cheesy richness, and piled generously onto the baguette that came alongside, it made for a thoroughly satisfying meal.

What we liked:

• The one-hour Baekhyeon-dong public parking support takes a lot of the parking stress away
• The anchovy pasta and lasagna balanced well together, so we could enjoy the whole meal without the usual heaviness of Western food
• Tables are spaced comfortably and the pet policy is clear, making it easy for pet owners to visit too

What fell short:

• Because of the narrow Baekhyeon-dong alley, there are very few dedicated parking spots right in front, so using the public lot is essential during weekend peak hours
• With last order at 17:00, a late dinner isn't an option, so plan your visit for daytime brunch instead
