Anyang pasta restaurant, Friday after-work dinner: Two Find Peter
In short
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is a Western restaurant that occupies the entire 5th floor of Park Avenuel, a short walk from Exit 3 of Beomgye Station in Anyang. After work on a Friday, the writer and her husband shared four dishes at Two Find Peter: Caesar salad, whole squid ink risotto, vongole pasta and shrimp pilaf, and the food came out fairly quickly. With both the atmosphere and the food satisfying, Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is worth recommending for dates or get-togethers with friends.

Why we picked Two Find Peter for pasta in Beomgye
After work on Friday, my husband and I headed to Beomgye for a nice dinner. After a busy week, the thing I look forward to most is ending the day with good food in a good atmosphere. This time we went to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch (투파인드피터 범계점), well known as a Western restaurant with a great mood.
It's a place that often pops up when you search for Beomgye pasta spots, so I'd wanted to try it for a while, and now that I've been, I understand why so many people recommend it.

Two Find Peter location: a short walk from Beomgye Station Exit 3, entire 5th floor
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is an easy walk from Exit 3 of Beomgye Station. The restaurant uses the entire 5th floor of the building, so it's quite spacious, and the moment the elevator doors opened, the moody atmosphere caught my eye.
It was Friday evening, so there were a lot of guests. Plenty of tables were couples, and I also saw groups of friends and families out for a meal. It felt like a place people of all ages can comfortably visit.

Each area of the restaurant had a slightly different feel. Some seats were bright and warm, others were softly lit and moody, so you can pick the atmosphere you want. We took a seat in a quiet area and took our time looking over the menu.

Four dishes for two, starting with warm bread
The menu goes beyond pasta to risotto, pilaf, pizza and salads, so it was hard to decide what to order. Wanting to taste a bit of everything, we ordered the Caesar salad, whole squid ink risotto, vongole pasta (clam pasta) and shrimp pilaf.
Not long after we ordered, warm bread came out first. Dipping the fluffy bread into balsamic and olive oil really got my appetite going. It's a perfect light bite while waiting for the mains, and I was happy with it.

Caesar salad
The first dish to arrive was the Caesar salad. It was loaded with fresh greens and generously topped with rich Caesar dressing, so I was happy from the first bite. You can add chicken tenders, but since we'd already ordered plenty of mains, we had it plain, and it was still plenty tasty. The crisp greens and dressing worked well together and went nicely with the pasta too.

Whole squid ink risotto
The whole squid ink risotto that came next grabbed my attention the second it landed on the table. True to its name, a big whole squid sat on top, and cut into bite-size pieces and eaten with the risotto, the texture was wonderful. The squid wasn't tough but springy, and the squid ink risotto had a deep flavor. A faint hint of spice kept it from getting boring to the very end, and my husband even said it was the most memorable dish of the night.

Vongole pasta
The vongole pasta was better than I expected too. It had plenty of fresh clams, and the oil sauce wasn't overdone, so the clams' clean, savory depth really came through. The noodles kept a nice bite, making every forkful satisfying. It wasn't heavy-handed, so it was easy to enjoy and went well with the other dishes. I could see why so many people recommend it as a Beomgye pasta spot.

Shrimp pilaf
Last came the shrimp pilaf, which was also generous. It had plenty of plump shrimp, and the cheese lightly melted over the fluffy stir-fried rice added a rich, nutty flavor. It was even better with the sauce served alongside, and eating it with jalapeños here and there kept it from feeling heavy, so I enjoyed it right to the end.

Is Two Find Peter good for dates and group dinners?
All four dishes were neatly plated, and every one showed real care. Best of all, the food came out relatively quickly after ordering, so even hungry after work, we didn't have to wait long.
The atmosphere, the taste and the price were all satisfying, and it was a lovely evening. It's great for a date and also relaxed enough for a gathering with friends, so I think we'll be back often.
If you're looking for a Western restaurant with a great atmosphere in Beomgye, or a proper Beomgye pasta spot, I recommend giving Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch a try. There's fun in ordering several dishes and sharing, and each dish is well made, so it makes for a satisfying meal. Next time I'd like to order pizza and gnocchi too and try an even wider range.
