Why I went back to Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch

I went to Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch (준오헤어 동탄SRT역점) for a volume magic (a smoothing perm) because I wasn't happy with a haircut from another salon. I'd had my hair cut about two weeks earlier, my usual stylist was fully booked, so I booked with someone else... and the design I wanted didn't come out T_T... such a shame... So I put the volume magic on hold, and right then I ended up going to Juno Hair!

(I used to go to Juno Hair a lot before I moved, and I'd visited the Dongtan SRT branch before too! I liked it, so I went again this time.)

Parking and how to find Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch

The salon is in the Lotte Castle shopping arcade near Dongtan Station. If you drive, don't enter through the Lotte Department Store entrance. Go into the arcade parking lot in the building after the department store. Don't use the department store entrance! The parking spaces underground are roomy. (I visited at 10 a.m.) No wonder this is the arcade of a flagship Dongtan apartment complex... After parking, take the elevator in Front Castle Building B!

Come up to the 2nd floor, walk straight in toward Hanatour, and you'll see Juno Hair SRT. The entrance is grand already... haha. Typical Juno Hair... you can feel the effort in the interior from the door, like a proper high-end salon!

Inside Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch: products, kids' room, private shampoo room

Near the entrance, the salon also sells Juno Hair products. My husband uses Juno Hair shampoo right now.

This is the one! My husband's favorite... shampoo. Nice to see it here, haha. The Dongtan Juno Hair SRT branch stocks it too!

Fitting for Dongtan, which is full of kids, there's a separate kids' room. It's perfect for the children to play while mom and dad get their hair done. A salon that's easy to visit with kids!

The shampoo zone! There are private single rooms too. (I was lucky and got my moisture care in a single room. It was quiet and nice... haha, so comfortable...)

On weekends there are lots of customers, so they also do treatments on the other side. There's a private care area there too.

A crooked tassel cut, starting over with a re-cut

That day I decided to get the cut redone and have a volume magic. My designer was Chaea, who is known for being good at bob perms. Ooh? She's good at bob perms! My favorability went up!

First, my hair before the perm... sob. I'd asked the previous salon for a tassel cut vibe and they cut it a little crooked... sob. Every time I push my side hair back it looks like a mouse nibbled it... haha. Anyway, Designer Chaea, please help me! lol

I told her I wanted the cut redone and a light-feeling style! She understood what I needed right away and cut it after a shampoo. I already loved the cut!

Drinks and cookies during the volume magic heat treatment

After the cut, the heat treatment started along with the solution. I get cursed with the ugly-in-the-salon spell... blurred out.... hahaha. The heat on my head felt warm and nice. The air conditioning at Dongtan Juno Hair SRT was totally blasting... haha.

While the heat treatment ran......

They gave me an iced americano in a super cute bear cup, plus a dessert! haha. I was hungry, so this was great.

And the cookies were even Grains cookies. The ones I like and buy now and then... haha. Jenny Bakery is number 1, Grains cookies number 2. Such a thoughtful touch. (I know my food...) The chocolate cookies from the basket they weigh and sell by the gram are the best!

Curled bangs and flared sides, 1 hour 10 minutes until neutralizing

The volume magic at Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch took about 1 hour 10 minutes of treatment time until neutralizing. The heat treatment was done while I ate dessert! After the shampoo I sat down to get my hair dried, and

I loved the bangs! (This was before the flat iron.) She thoughtfully curled the bangs, and as I'd asked for a flared look, she put curls into the sides too. Designer Chaea has the best sense!

Heh, now all that's left is neutralizing! I thought it would take about 3 hours, but she seems to work fast... (this was around 1 hour 10 minutes of treatment time). After neutralizing and a shampoo, she finished with a scalp pack and moisture care! Steaming the product in made my hair soft! haha

Volume magic result and styling at home

The volume magic at Juno Hair Dongtan SRT Station Branch gave the tassel perm look I wanted: neat, natural and light-looking. Oh, so tidy! This is the tassel perm I wanted... yes, this is it! I was thrilled inside all by myself... haha.

Designer Chaea also showed me how to style it. I wondered whether it would style differently at home from the salon... (turns out I'd been curling in the opposite direction all along, so the volume never showed up... haha) From tomorrow I can manage it really easily!
