Fall weather makes me hungrier, but somehow it also makes me want to shop like crazy — so I headed to Uiwang Premium Outlet to shop to my heart's content!
Uiwang Premium Outlet is great overall, but shopping wears out my legs and makes me thirsty, and I always wished there were more cafés to rest at — that part was a little disappointing. Then I heard Jeong Jiyoung Roasters had opened near Glass Ville, so I went straight in! Jeong Jiyoung Roasters is famous in Suwon for great coffee, and I'd been curious about it, so I walked right in!
Where is Jeong Jiyoung Coffee Roasters at Lotte Premium Outlet Uiwang?
Jeong Jiyoung Roasters is located in Glass Ville at Uiwang Premium Outlet. It opened newly this time alongside a Shake Shack in the outlet.
It's set up as a café across the 1st and 2nd floors, so there's plenty of seating, and best of all the ceilings are so high the interior looks amazing!

Besides drinks, Jeong Jiyoung Roasters Uiwang branch also sells pretty goods like t-shirts and hats, and of course, being a coffee spot known for its beans, a variety of coffee beans too. Personally I thought those vintage-colored logo mugs were so pretty! They'd make a great gift along with some beans!
Next to the beans there's a spot where you can smell the aroma of each bean, which I loved!
Personally I like coffee with acidity, so I loved the Ethiopian bean's fragrant, floral, fruity aroma!
Coffee alone would be a shame haha — there are madeleines, Lamington cake, and various slice cakes to go with your coffee!

The menu prices at Jeong Jiyoung Roasters at Uiwang Premium Outlet are reasonable, and with so many options it'd be a great spot to come with anyone!
This season's new spring-summer menu items include a summer latte and an ice cream latte, both of which looked delicious, but after some deliberation I went with the signature coconut coffee of this Uiwang Premium Outlet café favorite — Jeong Jiyoung Roasters — plus a hot americano and chamomile tea!

The view from the top floor of Glass Ville
This café sits on the very top floor of Glass Ville, so the view from inside is gorgeous. Taking a shot holding my drink here, I felt like I was on vacation, not at an outlet — Jeong Jiyoung Roasters is truly the view spot at Uiwang Premium Lotte Outlet.

How do the Lamington cake and chamomile tea taste?
Shopping made me crave something sweet, so I ordered the Lamington cake too. It's not a slice cake but several small Lamington cakes, which made it easy to share with drinks! The moist chocolate-coated sponge cake was topped with fragrant, nutty coconut flakes — a flavor anyone would love! It's not too sweet, so it gives you a pleasant sugar boost that pairs well with coffee and is perfect when you need an energy top-up mid-shopping!
The chamomile tea also uses RISHI tea, known for great-tasting teas, so the aroma was lovely!
The cake pieces are bite-sized, so they're easy to pop in your mouth in one go. If you love sweet bread, I highly recommend the Lamington.
If the inside were chocolate too it might be too sweet and cloying, but inside it's a plain pound cake, so it's not overly sweet — even my parents enjoyed it a lot!
What are the seats and the walk-in route like?
With the café spread across two floors, it was easy to grab a seat, which is nice since finding a spot at cafés and restaurants at Uiwang Premium Lotte Outlet is usually hard!
Take the escalator down and you'll find Outback and Shake Shack, so the layout flows really well!
I sat on the 1st floor, but the view from the 2nd floor is really something! This doesn't even feel like an outlet! The scenery was so pretty it felt like traveling in Europe!
The 2nd floor definitely has more seats than the 1st. And the spacing between seats isn't too tight, so it was comfortable for chatting!
It's located right at the top of Glass Ville at Uiwang Premium Lotte Outlet like this. It's connected to the Agabang kids' clothing store, which made it convenient to get to.
I recommend Jeong Jiyoung Roasters, a café favorite at Uiwang Premium Lotte Outlet! The high ceilings and pretty scenery feel good for the eyes, and every drink and pastry item was delicious — if you're at Uiwang Premium Lotte Outlet, I recommend Jeong Jiyoung Roasters for a sugar boost.
