Crispy, varied, and delicious — a baguette sandwich spot worth knowing
Tonight was one of those days I just wanted a light sandwich dinner haha. I like sandwiches, and I heard they use baguette bread here plus you can get soup on the side, which I also love — so I got curious. Off to a new baguette sandwich place! The location near Jamsil Station is great too.

Getting there from Jamsil Station and the storefront

I was looking for somewhere light to eat around Jamsil and found this place. The shop is clean and takeout customers kept streaming in. Great atmosphere for a quick lunch or an easy meal after work!

There's a lot of hagwons (private academies) around, so it'd be great for delivery too! If it were near my office, I probably would've eaten here three times a week haha.
Inside Town Sandwich Jamsil: seating for solo diners
The interior of Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch has a wood-tone look with deep green accents. The shop isn't big, but the seating works well for solo diners, and there's a window seat too.

Wood tones with deep green accents — a clean, comfortable mood!

The shop isn't large, but it's really well set up for eating solo!

There's a window seat too.

Above all, the smell of baguettes being prepped right in the shop kind of stirs up your appetite haha. There are so many kinds of jambon-beurre that I started deciding what to order before I even walked in... I'll definitely have to try the jambon-beurre next time.

Perfect for a satisfying light lunch or dinner!

The cookies are also seriously huge. They're clearly good at baguettes, so now I'm curious about the cookies too.

If you eat in, just return your tray when you're done.

Our after-work order: Town Sandwich, Cajun Chicken Curry and pumpkin soup
At Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch we ordered the Town Sandwich for 8,800 won, Cajun Chicken Curry for 8,300 won, and dippable pumpkin soup for 4,800 won. Since it was dinner for two after work, we kept it from being too heavy!

Adding even just one soup made the spread feel hearty and complete.

What does the pumpkin soup for dipping taste like?
The pumpkin soup comes out warm, with a mild flavor and a subtle, faintly sweet pumpkin aroma. 🫶 It's not too rich, and goes down smooth and soft. Eating just the sandwich might feel a bit plain, but ordering the soup alongside made the meal feel so much more complete. Dipping the baguette in lightly is a genuinely delicious combo too.

The bestselling Town Sandwich and its baguette texture
As you'd expect from the bestseller, it's a sandwich that nails the basics. Above all, the baguette! The crust is seriously crisp. You could actually hear a crunch when you bit in!! But the inside wasn't chewy, so it was easy to eat. If you love baguettes, this texture will absolutely win you over.

Smoked ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomato are packed inside the baguette. As someone who loves vegetables, this was totally my style.
The lettuce is generous, so every bite has that crunchy texture. The sauce is a mustard-based one that ties the ham and cheese together without overpowering them. The overall balance was really good.

Cajun Chicken Curry baguette sandwich
The Cajun Chicken Curry baguette sandwich has grilled chicken breast coated in Cajun seasoning with a spicy curry sauce.

On top of that, it's loaded with tomato, lettuce, and pickles.
The subtle curry aroma pairs so well with the Cajun chicken. There are plenty of vegetables too, so it was easy to finish without getting tired of it. If you're generally a curry person, this is a menu item I'd recommend without hesitation!

If you want something a bit more filling than the basic sandwich, I'd recommend the Cajun Chicken Curry.
Verdict: a baguette sandwich dinner in Jamsil
This feels like a place I'll think of when I want a meal that's light but still filling. The baguette is genuinely crisp, and the vegetables are fresh and generous, so I didn't feel weighed down afterward. I especially want to recommend the pumpkin soup combo.
Next time I want to try the jambon-beurre, and work my way through the other bánh mì options one by one! If you're looking for a good baguette sandwich in Jamsil, Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is well worth recommending.
