Shashlik Masan Branch is open 11:00–22:00 every day except Tuesday, when it is closed. You can use Shashlik's own parking lot.

It's been a while, so we drove out to Shashlik Masan Branch, an open-fire steak specialist, for a meal, haha. It's only 10 minutes by car from Daetgeori, so it's easy to reach, and the big private parking lot means zero parking worries! And it's one of the few dog-friendly restaurants in Masan, Changwon and Jinhae~~

They also run a campfire service like this~~ Don't you think it would be a great place to make good memories if you bring your kid?

What is the seating like at Shashlik Masan Branch?

The inside has a lush, green forest view! The owner greeted us so kindly the moment we walked in that it put me in a good mood right away.

A Masan BBQ restaurant with no break time

We came at an awkward hour, and since Shashlik Masan Branch has no break time, it was no pressure at all. Nice..! There are also floor-seating tables, so it's perfect if you bring a kid and want to sit wherever you like.

They have high chairs too! Personally, I care a lot about restrooms wherever I go, and Shashlik in Masan keeps separate men's and women's restrooms inside, kept clean. A top Masan spot..🤍🩷

What's on the menu at Shashlik Masan Branch?

Shashlik Masan Branch specializes in open-fire steak: pork belly and neck, chicken thigh, lamb, sausage and more, all cooked over open fire with that smoky flavor the moment you order, so it can't possibly taste bad.. They also have fancier items like prime rib, T-bone steak and Hanwoo (Korean beef) striploin, so it seems perfect for an anniversary, hahaha.

We picked the pork neck open-fire shashlik with the truffle plate!!!

Four sauces provided?! I'm someone who loves dipping meat in sauce, so I was already very satisfied with this.

How do the pork belly and neck shashlik and truffle plate taste?

Ta-da, our pork neck open-fire steak arrives..!!!!!!!!

They light a candle under the pork neck shashlik so it stays warm as you eat, and oh.. the open-fire aroma rising the second it came out was amazing, T_T

The truffle plate followed right after..! It comes with french fries and ciabatta bread, which makes it a great Shashlik menu item for kids too.

We came by car, so not being able to drink was such a pity T_T

There was no gamey smell at all, and the juicy meat was insanely good.. And the mushrooms were honestly better than the meat, weren't they?! T_T

Dipping in whichever sauce I felt like meant I never got tired of it, and I wanted to order more.

The chewy ciabatta was yummy too~~~

How do they grill the vegetables so well too! It felt just like eating at a campsite, in both mood and flavor, which made Shashlik in Masan a spot that lifts your spirits, haha.
