Cheonan café with 4 salt breads to take away: Pino Cafe Cheonan

Pino Cafe Cheonan is a large café near Taehaksan. I'd been meaning to visit for a while since it's known for its garden bursting with seasonal flowers, and I finally made it!

In spring it's famous for green barley and shasta daisies, and right now it's cosmos season — the cosmos were in full bloom, so I went with Nyong for brunch and some flower-viewing.

The menu: brunch plates and four kinds of salt bread

First things first, we went in to order! Pino Cafe has quite a varied brunch menu, and the bakery corner has all sorts of salt bread —

We first ordered the special lunch (15.0), kimchi pilaf (13.0), and cream cheese salt bread (5.5), and since they were so good we then ordered pollack roe mayo salt bread (5.2), sweet corn cream salt bread (5.5), and injeolmi (sweet rice cake) salt bread (5.5) to take out.

The main building already had a lot of reserved seats, so we decided to try the newly opened annex —

True to a new space, it was clean and pleasant all around, and the green scenery visible through the windows made the atmosphere even more to my liking —

Brunch and flowers in one stop near Taehaksan

Just being able to see different flowers each season already makes it worth a visit, but the brunch menu was reasonably priced and delicious too, so Pino Cafe ended up even more satisfying than I expected.

Especially now, with the cosmos in full bloom, it was great for having brunch, enjoying the flowers, and taking photos.

Romantic Campnic: the dog-friendly zone

Heading a bit further up, there was a space called Romantic Campnic where you can come with your dog! There's air conditioning inside too, so it seems fine to visit even in summer —

What we ordered at Pino Cafe Cheonan

Our food came out looking so appetizing!

Special lunch, 15,000 won

A single plate came with all sorts of things, so it's great as a brunch, and the portion was more substantial than expected — very satisfying. ₩15,000 for this spread is genuinely great value.

What is this potato fry sauce, it's so good... ! The croissant was super crispy too

Kimchi pilaf, 13,000 won

I ordered it without much expectation, but it was so good. It's mildly spicy with a deep savory flavor, and the rice is well seasoned, so I kept reaching for more —

The portion was generous too, and at ₩13,000 it's just as good value as the special lunch. I thought this would be a place more focused on atmosphere and flower-viewing since it's a brunch café, but the food turned out delicious too, which made me even more satisfied — Pino Cafe, a great brunch spot in Cheonan.

Four salt breads packed to go

The salt bread was tastier than expected too, so I packed a few more on the way out — I picked pollack roe mayo, sweet corn, and injeolmi salt bread, and each one was delicious in its own way. Of those, my number one was pollack roe mayo

Is Pino Cafe Cheonan worth a visit?

With the cosmos in full bloom, Pino Cafe was great for a brunch followed by some easy flower-viewing. Once the weather cools down a bit more, I'd like to come back with my pups
