I'm a tiramisu maniac, so while searching for cafés near Gangnam Station I found Selected Nicks! I went to Selected Nicks, a large Gangnam Station café where you can try three kinds of tiramisu omakase-style on a platter, with an amazing rooftop near Gangnam Station.
Where Selected Nicks is and where to park
Address: 37 Teheran-ro 4-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea (1F)

Walk about 5-6 minutes from Gangnam Station, and at the end of an alley in the middle of the city you'll find Selected Nicks, where every floor from 1F to 8F plus the rooftop is run as café space :)
There's a building parking lot, but it's usually full of cars and SUVs can't get in, so using a nearby public parking lot is much easier.
What's on the menu at Selected Nicks

Since Selected Nicks near Gangnam Station is a tiramisu specialty shop, I assumed they'd only sell tiramisu? But there was quite a variety of desserts too — salt bread sandwiches, financiers, madeleines, and more.

True to its tiramisu specialty, the lineup was dizzying — banana tiramisu, choco banana tiramisu, Dubai tiramisu, raspberry tiramisu, matcha tiramisu, and more haha
Tiramisu platter, 14,800 won: tasting all three flavors
I ordered the tiramisu platter (₩14,800) and an americano (₩6,000). At Selected Nicks you order on the 1st floor then head straight up to the rooftop! I went around 5pm, and there was exactly one seat left? Hoho... used up all my luck for the day haha
Since it was my first visit, I wanted to try a variety of tiramisu, so I ordered the tiramisu platter!

The platter comes with three kinds of tiramisu: original, choco banana, and banana.

Choco banana tiramisu
The first one I tried was choco banana tiramisu! Banana sits between layers of soft chocolate cream, so the deep sweetness of chocolate blended well with the fresh, fragrant taste of the banana in my mouth!

The cream wasn't heavy or greasy — it melted smoothly, so if you like the chocolate-banana combo, this is the easiest flavor to enjoy! Banana + chocolate = a combo that always makes your mouth happy.

Original tiramisu
Original tiramisu! It's such a familiar flavor that I expected the least from it, but the coffee flavor was stronger than I thought, which I liked.

The cream is soft with a subtle cheese aroma, and the coffee's bitterness balances out the overall sweetness — the most classic flavor to enjoy of the three!

Banana tiramisu
The banana tiramisu had Lotus crumble on top. Between the soft, sweet cream, the crumble's sweet-yet-slightly-bitter flavor and crunchy texture added a lot more fun.

Eating just soft tiramisu and banana on their own could get a little monotonous, but the crumble crunching in between kept the texture interesting.
The best order to eat the tiramisu platter
I'd recommend eating the Selected Nicks tiramisu platter in this order: original > banana > choco. I ate them in the order they were plated, starting with choco banana, and by the time I got to original I could barely taste it anymore. Original tiramisu has the mildest flavor, so eating in that order lets you taste each one clearly.

How the americano pairs with tiramisu
I debated what drink to order but went with a cold americano? Turned out to be the right call haha — since the tiramisu cream is sweet, the clean, bitter americano cleared my palate nicely.

The coffee had low acidity, a nutty note, and little bitterness — a balanced, crowd-pleasing flavor! Personally I'd recommend pairing americano with tiramisu, but if you're sensitive to caffeine, a clean iced tea would work well too!
What's the rooftop view like at Selected Nicks?

This is the reason I really wanted to come here out of all the many large cafés near Gangnam Station! After seeing this rooftop photo, I couldn't not run over!

Sitting on the rooftop looking down over downtown Seoul, slowly eating tiramisu and coffee — fully enjoying some alone time for once!

The blue sky was really beautiful that day, and since the sun was slowly going down, the city view got even prettier — sitting still there felt like relaxing on a hotel rooftop, and I really loved that time.

The 8th floor is good for studying, and the 2nd floor has an exhibition space too — Selected Nicks has different culture on every floor, plus that Gangnam Station rooftop!
Takeout boxes and gift packaging

They also have pretty packaging perfect for gifting, so this special tiramisu makes a great gift purchase too!
Final verdict on Selected Nicks
A large café near Gangnam Station I'd love to visit again whenever I want to properly enjoy dessert while taking in an open view from a rooftop in the middle of downtown Seoul.
