My parents were craving shabu-shabu, so we went straaight to Shabu20 Asan Onyang! 🖤 The spacious dining room and easy parking were so convenient, and there were tons of sides to eat, so we were super, super satisfied!! 🤤 You can have unlimited Vietnamese spring rolls, meat, and vegetables, and even finish with ice cream—perfect, haha.
Shabu20 Asan Onyang location and parking
It’s on the second floor at 246 Nambu-ro, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do! Indoor parking in the Hanaro Mart building is free for 3 hours, with space for 300 cars. Hours are daily from 11:00 to 22:00, and last order is at 20:50!
A spacious dining room on Hanaro Mart’s second floor
This is the outside of the restaurant! It’s located on the second floor of Hanaro Mart! 🖤 You could tell how spacious it was even from outside, haha.

Here’s the inside! 🖤 Once we went in, it was seriously huge and spacious.. 👀 It seems perfect for every kind of gathering, whether it’s a group or a small get-together!! The white-and-wood interior feels clean, and the lighting and décor above give it a luxurious feel too, haha.
A self bar with porridge, sides, and more

There was porridge and soup that would be great before the meal or as dessert too! 🖤 They had sweet pumpkin porridge, beef cream soup, fruit, rice cakes, and lots more!!!!

There are so many sauces too! 🖤 Chili sauce, sesame dressing, soy sauce, and more all go so well with shabu-shabu, which makes it fun to eat!! Haha.
And there was all this food! LA galbi, sweet-and-spicy fried chicken, pasta, takoyaki, minari (water parsley) with vinegar dressing, salmon salad, acorn jelly salad, sweet pumpkin salad, fried rice, and so much more!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Apparently the LA galbi and fried chicken are this restaurant’s signatures! No wonder they were so tender~.~ We came for shabu-shabu, so I tried to show some restraint while choosing.. haha.
Unlimited meat and fresh vegetables
Shabu20’s biggest advantage!!! The meat is unlimited!!! 🖤 You can eat as much meat as you want... 🤤 There are two kinds: beef and pork! 🖤 Broth refills are below the meat refrigerator, haha. The meat was portioned nicely and kept looking fresh!!
And all the vegetables for the shabu-shabu were such fresh ingredients too! 🖤 There were mushrooms, minari, scallions, bean sprouts, bok choy, napa cabbage, and more!! It was so delicious with minari added in.. I love minari.. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Ta-da, they have Vietnamese spring rolls too!! 👀 Just pick up the rice paper, warm water, and vegetables to put in your rolls yourself!

They also have drinks, plus ice cream, coffee, and draft beer for dessert!! 🖤 Isn’t that just perfect~?? Haha.
The 100-minute dinner course and broth choices

Here’s the menu!!! We went at dinner time, so we could use the restaurant for 100 minutes! 🖤 We ordered the 100-minute dinner course for ₩29,900 per person! 🖤
At Shabu20, you have to choose two broth flavors! So I ordered the recommended original broths: bonito and spicy! The special broths above cost an extra ₩1,000 per person, haha. Both beef and pork are unlimited, and there was even a guide on how to enjoy everything, which was handy!! 🫶🏻
Nom nom with bonito and spicy broths

They only set up the broths for you, so you can pick up all the food, Vietnamese spring rolls, and everything else from the self bar! 🖤 Plus sauces, meat, vegetables, and so on from the self bar.. haha.

Bring back your goodies from the self bar like this!! 🖤 I love minari, so I brought back a whole lot of it, haha.
Once the broth boils, add the vegetables and meat nicely like this!! The spicy broth isn’t intensely hot; it has just enough spice to cut through the richness! The bonito broth is the most basic flavor, with a clean, delicious broth taste, haha. Ahh.. I’m salivating just writing this.. 🤤
Chili sauce was my favorite sauce, so I dipped lots of vegetables and meat into it! 🖤 It was so delicious, and the vegetables were fresh, so you could really taste them well, haha. I seriously ended up overeating..;;

I ate so heartily and finished with ice cream.. 🖤 They had things you could sprinkle on top like this too, which I loved, haha. I was seriously full, and dessert made it perfect-!! 🫶🏻
They also have a prize-draw event and a Shasha event, so it could be nice to join in before you leave after eating! Haha. We ate so much, and even my parents were satisfied, so we had a really great meal!! 🖤
Why it satisfied us for a meal with my parents
- The restaurant is large with plenty of parking, so I highly recommend it as a gathering spot
- Unlimited beef and pork
- Clean-tasting broths
- Lots of menu options with a great selection
- The fried chicken and LA galbi are tender
