I suddenly got a craving for shabu-shabu—thinly sliced meat swished in warm broth—so my hubby and I went to Shabu20 Asan Onyang Branch (샤브20 아산온양점), an Asan favorite with unlimited beef.
There’s parking! You can use the Hanaro Mart parking lot.

An Asan family meal spot with easy Hanaro Mart parking
Shabu20 is located inside Hanaro Mart Asan Onyang Branch. We came here for my father-in-law’s birthday last time, and I’d wanted to return because it was clean, delicious, and had such a wide range of food. Since it’s inside Hanaro Mart, parking is easy too, so I recommend it for family meals.

Here’s the inside of Shabu20 Asan Onyang Branch :) We visited at 7 p.m., but it was so busy that I couldn’t take photos; around 8, it became a little quieter, so I snapped these. The interior is neat, comfortable, and hygienically maintained, giving such a clean impression. It’s spacious enough for a crowd, so I really want to recommend Shabu20 as an Asan gathering spot too.

Two broths and an unlimited weekday-dinner spread
As soon as we went in, we were shown to our table, where we could choose two broths. We picked the standard spicy broth and katsuobushi (bonito-flake) broth. Weekday dinner is ₩29,900 for unlimited beef shabu-shabu and buffet dishes :) Plus, draft beer is unlimited too, making this an amazingly good-value all-you-can-eat beef spot in Asan.

On your first visit, a staff member kindly explains how everything works, and the second they left, I dashed straight to the buffet zone~~~

A generous buffet, not just unlimited beef
Unlimited beef is a plus at Shabu20 Asan Onyang Branch, but I think the real standout is just how generous this buffet is :) There are heaps of vegetables to enjoy with your shabu-shabu, lots of sauces, and such a variety of dishes, including LA galbi (Korean-style grilled short ribs) and chicken. The buffet is also kept very neatly, which made it feel hygienic.

Then add desserts, various drinks, and unlimited draft beer, and you’re totally drawn in—you’ll want to come back to this Asan shabu-shabu spot :)

The broths we ordered arrived, and they were so clean-tasting and pleasantly spicy that whatever you put in them turns delicious like magic :)

They say unlimited top-grade beef and pork are served here. The shabu-shabu was fresh and delicious, and the food kept being replenished, which made the meal even more satisfying :)

My hubby and I diligently carried plate after plate back and set ourselves a whole feast. Everything was delicious and nicely seasoned, so Shabu20 is also a great Asan shabu-shabu spot to bring your parents to :)

Tender meat and addictive LA galbi
Even though the meat is unlimited, the quality wasn’t poor at all. It was all fresh, and when cooked shabu-shabu style, it was juicy and tender.

Especially this LA galbi—once you try it, the tender, sweet flavor is addictive :) The shabu-shabu is delicious, but this is also an Asan spot I’d visit just for the LA galbi. This seasoned fried chicken was seriously yummy too.

Vegetables, peanut sauce, and Vietnamese spring rolls
Throw all the fresh vegetables into the broth, let them bubble away, then add a slice of meat at a time for shabu-shabu—so, so good~ You can eat lots of vegetables too, so it’s a healthy and delicious meal :)

There was a wide variety of sauces, so I laid out several and paired them however I liked. They cut through any richness and add even more flavor. My absolute favorite was the peanut sauce!!
I debated whether to have one, but I ended up getting a glass of draft beer too. That crisp, fizzy fresh beer was so refreshing and delicious—it was healing :)

Make yourself a proper Vietnamese spring roll and take a bite—pure heaven, lol. So chewy and delicious.

It was delicious straight in the broth, and really, shabu-shabu is wonderful however you eat it +_+
After eating, we even made juk (rice porridge) for dessert. My hubby and I headed home patting our bellies and saying we were stuffed to death :) Next time, I thought, we should bring our parents along~
