Boryeong pizza pub lunch for two with a brewery tour: Daecheon Brewery

This holiday my partner and I planned a barbecue party at our pension! We had a lot of time before check-in, so for lunch we went to a Daecheon Beach favorite.

Where is Daecheon Brewery? Hours and parking

Daecheon Brewery Craft Beer Brewery & Pizza Pub is located at 65-71 Daeryangbiseon-jae-gil, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do. It's open 12:00-22:00, closed every Tuesday, with no break time on weekends or holidays.

Inside Daecheon Brewery: atmosphere and seating

Daecheon Brewery's interior was genuinely charming. It's giving full overseas resort vibes!

There's a bar table, regular tables, and a terrace — plenty of seating options! The terrace looks like it would be really romantic to sit at in the evening :) This place kept coming up whenever I searched for Daecheon Beach restaurants, and I think this atmosphere is a big part of why!

Boryeong Mud Beer brewed right inside the pub?

Inside Daecheon Brewery there's an actual brewery where they make their own craft beer! This is apparently where signature brews like Boryeong Mud Beer are made~

It was my first time seeing a brewery up close, and it was so fascinating!

The craft beers they sell! There are so many varieties, and apparently if you ask the staff, they'll recommend one for you, so getting a recommendation could be a good idea haha. For people like me who can't drink, or who can't drink because they're driving, there's also non-alcoholic craft beer, so keep that in mind!

At Daecheon Brewery, you order via kiosk. When you're seated, you'll get a number, and you enter it into the kiosk when ordering. Takeout is also available :)

Pizza, salad, platters, and all kinds of beers! There's a lot to enjoy. I ordered the solo platter, double pepperoni pizza, cola, and sparkling water 😊

The drinks came out first :) I ordered the Boryeong mud sparkling water because the name was so intriguing haha. It's basically regular sparkling water, but I liked the can design 👍

Right after, the food arrived :)

Double pepperoni pizza and solo platter: enough food for two?

The double pepperoni pizza at ₩24,000 was totally my type — the cheese, pepperoni, and tomato sauce were perfectly balanced. And the dough is so good! Chewy enough that the crust alone was delicious! I demolished it completely.

The solo platter comes with two types of sausage plus wings and drumsticks. I think it was corn sausage and jalapeño sausage? This was also amazing without question haha. If two people go and order a solo platter plus a pizza, the portion ends up just right.

If you're not getting pizza, the DCB Platter is also good, but I'd recommend ordering pizza — it's delicious :)

Is Daecheon Brewery a good spot for lunch?

Daecheon Brewery Craft Beer Brewery & Pizza Pub, a Daecheon Beach favorite, felt like a place that's great for a meal at lunch and a great spot for drinks with dinner in the evening. It seemed like everyone else felt the same way, because there were tons of lunch diners too.

These days, it's the perfect spot to grab lunch or dinner while traveling with family :) The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and there's craft beer you can only enjoy in Boryeong, so definitely pay a visit!
