Sejong Italian restaurant revisit: Toowoomba & margherita set, Olibus
In short
Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship is an Italian restaurant in Eojin-dong, Sejong, in Building B of Sejong Business Center (SBC Center). After a satisfying first visit, the writer returned at 7 p.m. on a weekday with a Naver reservation and ordered the 2-person set for 50,900 won: potato soup, Toowoomba fettuccine, margherita pizza and two ades. From pasta to pizza to soup, everything is delicious here! I went to Olibus (올리부스), an Italian restaurant in Eojin-dong, Sejong. I was so happy with my first visit that this time I came back to try different dishes. Verdict first: another big success!
Where is Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship, and where do you park?

Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship is at Unit 113 on the 1st floor of Building B, Sejong Business Center, in Eojin-dong, Sejong.

For parking, use the underground car park of the building! The first 45 minutes are free, and if you tell them when you pay for your meal, they give you 1 more hour. Great for anyone coming by car, with no stress about it!

Off to Building B we go~!
Do you need a reservation at Olibus on a weekday evening?

I visited at 7 p.m. on a weekday after booking through Naver, and if I hadn't reserved, I might not have gotten a table…! Apart from the reserved seats, it was almost completely full. Clearly a Sejong favorite, haha. If you have an important meeting or a date, I recommend booking ahead!

There are Blue Ribbon stickers all over one side of the entrance! You can tell at a glance that this place has been well reviewed for a long time >0< The atmosphere is clean and cozy, so I think it would also work for a date or an anniversary meal. By the way, for the restroom, go out of the restaurant and head to the building entrance on the right!

After a long time deciding, I went with the 2-person set, which lets you enjoy a bit of everything. It comes with potato soup + 2 pieces of baguette, 1 pasta, 1 pizza and 2 drinks.

Is the Olibus potato soup really that good?

I kept thinking about the potato soup I skipped last time, so this time I ordered it right away! Green onion, cheese and bacon give it color, and it was almost too pretty to eat >..<
When I took a spoonful, there was more cheese than I expected, and I even got a nice cheese pull! It was rich and nutty, and the deep flavor of the potato really came through. Smooth and rich, the textbook potato soup! Honestly I could eat it every day for a whole month, it was that good, haha.

Dipping the baguette that comes with it is the best too! Once the baguette soaks up the soup, it tastes even richer and nuttier. I scraped the bowl clean…hahaha.

While I was marveling over the potato soup, the Toowoomba fettuccine and the margherita pizza arrived quickly too! The food comes out pretty fast, which I liked.
What does the Toowoomba fettuccine taste like?

Olibus's Toowoomba fettuccine comes in a spicy Toowoomba sauce with plump shrimp, mushroom confit and other ingredients. The sauce was really rich and thick, and I was impressed from the very first bite. It's a cream pasta, but instead of being heavy it has just the right kick of spice, so I enjoyed it to the end!

Personally, the sauce was so good that I thought it would be great mixed into rice too, haha.
Is the near-classic margherita pizza good too?

And then the cheese-packed margherita pizza! I had tried the truffle funghi pizza at Olibus before, so I already knew they do pizza well. Still, I was curious how the almost-basic margherita would be, and it didn't let me down!

Ooooooh…. Can you see that cheese pull?! The combination of tomato sauce, basil and sun-dried tomatoes was so good >..<

Above all, the dough was exactly my taste. Chewy yet pleasantly plain, so it lets the toppings shine! I was already quite full, but I still finished every last slice, haha.

They bring pickles if you ask, so definitely have some if you want them! They cleanly reset your palate between the nuttiness of the pizza and the richness of the pasta.
Truffle berry ade and passion fruit ade

The truffle berry ade and passion fruit ade I picked as the set's drinks were tangy-sweet and went really well with the food. Personally, I was much happier with them than I would have been with soda. If you visit Olibus, I recommend trying an ade too >-<
Olibus revisit: overall verdict
This time I challenged myself with dishes I hadn't eaten on my last visit, and it was a total success! From the potato soup to the pasta, pizza and drinks, there wasn't a single disappointing item. If you're looking for a date spot in Eojin-dong, Sejong, I strongly recommend Olibus!
