Today I'm writing about a pasta place in Eojin-dong, Sejong: Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship (올리부스 이탈리안 레스토랑 어진동 본점). What's in the Olibus set for two, and how much is it?

We ordered the Olibus set for two, which was ₩52,900. Drinks are included, so the lineup felt pretty good. Here's what we got:

  • Potato soup & baguette
  • Red shrimp rosé panne
  • Margherita pizza
  • Triple berry ade
  • Passion fruit ade

Potato soup & baguette

The first thing to arrive was the potato soup with baguette. The smooth, rich soup had a lovely nutty flavor. The creaminess and the mild taste of the potato blended well, so it made a satisfying starter.

Dipping the baguette into the soup made it even better. It came out warm, which was plenty to get the appetite going.

Red shrimp rosé panne

The star of the meal was the red shrimp rosé panne (pasta served inside a big bread bowl). A large loaf comes packed with rosé sauce pasta, and the look alone grabbed my attention. The rosé sauce balances creamy richness with the tang of tomato sauce, so anyone can enjoy it without fuss.

It was loaded with plump red shrimp, which gave it great texture. Dipping the bread into the sauce let me enjoy it down to the last bite, and the portion was quite generous, so I was very happy with it.

Margherita pizza

The margherita pizza we ordered alongside was good too. It was a back-to-basics pizza: thin dough topped with tomato sauce, cheese and basil.

The richness of the cheese and the freshness of the tomato went well together, and the taste wasn't heavy, so it paired nicely with pasta. The crust was crisp all the way to the edge, and it went great with the red shrimp rosé panne.

Triple berry ade and passion fruit ade

Triple berry ade & passion fruit ade

For drinks we chose the triple berry ade and the passion fruit ade. The triple berry ade had that sweet, tangy berry taste, while the passion fruit ade had a strong tropical aroma that cleaned up the palate. Both went well with rich, heavy dishes.

Is Olibus Eojin-dong worth visiting again?

I hear many people have visited Olibus multiple times, and it's a steadily loved Sejong favorite. After going myself, I could see why it's so popular. The tidy atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food all satisfied me. The red shrimp rosé panne especially was so good I'd order it again next time.

If you're looking for a restaurant with a nice mood or a great pasta place in Sejong, I recommend Olibus. It seems like a satisfying choice for dates, family meals and get-togethers with friends.
