Hunta Euljiro is a black pork cutlet restaurant in Jung-gu, Seoul, near Euljiro 1-ga Station. I visited around 11:20 on a weekday for the tenderloin cutlet set and especially loved the juicy cutlet with house-made scallion kimchi. Verdict: Go before 11:30 or around 1 for a calmer lunch.

Hope So is a wood-fired pizza and beer restaurant in Songpa, Seoul, near Bangi Station and Olympic Park. I tried the Margherita pizza, beef brisket soy cream risotto, and a huge apple mango ade for 6,000 won. Verdict: an easy pick for dates, group dinners, or a late second round of drinks.
