Toddler fishing toy with role play: Kkoma Fishing King
In short
Kkoma Fishing King is a toddler fishing toy from Korea with sea creatures, fruit, and vegetables to catch. My 5-year-old (age 3 internationally) went from fishing contests to fisherman and cooking role-play with its three rods and mini tube. Verdict: a current favorite that keeps him playing all day.

The toy my little guy is totally obsessed with these days. It’s the Kkoma Fishing King fishing game!!
I’d bought him fishing toys a few times when he was younger too, but there weren’t many kinds of things to catch or very many pieces, so he got bored after playing a few times—and they ended up being toys only for playing in water. But this Kkoma Fishing King is absolutely perfect for Jukong, who is 5 years old (age 3 internationally), haha. First of all, there are sooo many pieces.

So many things to catch, from sea creatures to fruit and vegetables
I’ve never seen a fishing toy like this before... There are seriously so many piecesㅠㅠ It has not only sea creatures but also fruit and vegetables mixed in, so it came in handy for fishing contests with several people.

And there’s another bagful too, haha.

Jukong couldn’t leave my side while I was taking these photos—he just waited. Hehe.

A full set with a mini tube and pump
This Kkoma Fishing King also includes a mini tube and a little hand pump! It’s surprisingly well stocked, haha.

Jukong asked whether this was a syringe, haha. When I told him it was a pump for inflating the tube, his eyes sparkled even more.

Here you go. Go play already, hahaha. Inflating the tube!

He’s crouched down, holding a fishing rod and waiting, haha. He looked so cute... haha.

It’s small, so it was finished in no time!

There are three fishing rods alone.

When fishing play turns into fisherman and cooking play
Okay, shall we have some fun?

Checking them out one by one and having a good look, hehe.

He tried it standing up too.

Then he tried being a fisherman riding a boat while sitting down too, hehe.

He was so excited he didn’t know what to do with himself, hahaha.

He said, “Isn’t it strange that I caught an eggplant in the sea?” Haha. Still, since he caught it so diligently, my little guy said he’d cook it for Mommy to eat ♡

It’s a toy that goes beyond simple fishing play into role-play, so once he takes it out, he plays with it all day. It’s one of his current favorites, hehe.
