This is Genie from Allymom 😊 We're at the tail end of summer, and there's a light breeze morning and evening now, so it feels like the sleepless heat has finally passed. Such a relief!^^
Today I want to introduce a café in Goyang. About a 30-minute drive from home, there's a café in Wondang, Goyang that I visit every so often — a bakery café.

Salt bread is my husband's and my favorite, so we each picked one~ Then a fig campagne, a garlic baguette, and since my husband is a red bean bread lover, he insisted we absolutely had to get a red bean bun.
Baby chairs, single seats and the first-floor window bar seat
There were baby chairs too, split between the 1st and 2nd floors, two on each. Thirty years ago, when my only daughter Ally was a newborn, I was a total homebody who never left the house — but these days the younger generation isn't like that, are they~ It's nice to see people out with babies at restaurants and cafés. Baedagol Bakery is nature-friendly, so it's a Wondang, Goyang bread spot where young moms with babies can find some healing too.
Every time I've come I've sat on the 2nd floor, but this time we sat on the 1st floor. This spot only has one chair, so it seems to be a single seat. Coming alone to relax here would be nice too~
Maybe I'll come by myself next time?^^

Hehe! Pretty, right? The brown wooden window frame, the green plants outside, and coffee with cute bread~ What more is happiness than that? Enjoying this atmosphere with someone you love — that's happiness right there^^

Our favorite bread as a couple is the original salt bread — it seems plain at first but has a deep flavor. Salt bread with no extra add-ins, the most basic flavor, always tastes best^^
Had a fun café date in Wondang haha. We're usually both so busy we barely get to eat together, but that day we chatted away over bread, and in the evening we went to Unjeong CGV and had a great time watching Odyssey^^

While we were eating our bread and coffee, I went up to the 2nd floor for a bit to take some photos.
It's vacation season and really hot these days, so it was a bit quieter than usual that day~ If you like quiet, the 2nd floor seats might suit you better.
