Pink-to-red flower swap bridal shower at Hongdae self-photo studio U&I

My best friend Tini is getting married in September. Clap clap! (Lots of wedding-watching, lots of attending, as they say.) To celebrate, I booked a bridal shower shoot ("bridal shower" gets shortened to "bashya" in Korean). I've been to so many places for my own bridal shower and my friends' ones, and honestly, U&I Studio Hongdae Branch (유앤이 홍대점), where we went this time, is the BEST.....!!!!

Lots of props, lots of dresses, gorgeous default flower colors, and they send you ALL the original photos... seriously the best. So let me show you in detail the life-shots Tini and I got at U&I Studio Hongdae Branch.

What personal props should you bring to a bridal shower shoot?

U&I Studio Hongdae Branch has props ready, but to celebrate my friend I brought a big bouquet of pink fresh flowers myself. If you like the look of real flowers, I recommend bringing a bouquet.

There are props provided, but I brought a lush pink bouquet to celebrate my friend!!! The photos with it came out so pretty!

Is there parking at U&I Studio Hongdae Branch?

Yes, you can park in the building. We came by bus, but for anyone driving, good to know that parking is available~

How did the pink and white flower setup look?

At U&I Studio Hongdae Branch you can request your flower color in advance, so we chose a pink and white concept and asked for pink flowers. Rather than props piled on a table, the flowers are laid along the bottom and the photos focus on the person.

It was set up so beautifully that we got excited the second we walked in!!!! At other bridal shower shoots I'd been to, there was always a table with props on top, which felt a little cluttered. At U&I the flowers are at the bottom and the photos focus on the person, so it's clean, no fuss, and so pretty!

What props does U&I Studio Hongdae Branch have?

Inside there are tons of types of artificial flowers, plus a wide range of props like cakes, balloons, corsages, bouquets and beauty-queen sashes. I was amazed by how many flowers there were as soon as I walked in!

Even if you can't prepare fresh flowers, there are so many artificial props here, so no worries, no no no!

Cakes, balloons, corsages, bouquets, beauty-queen sashes... there were so many props that we were posing with them one by one and time flew by! haha

How many dresses can you change into at U&I Studio Hongdae?

U&I Studio Hongdae Branch has dresses too, and there was no limit on changing. So we changed as many times as we possibly could, haha

And the great thing is they have dresses like this?! I think Tini changed about four times!

There's also a powder room and a curling iron, so quick makeup touch-ups are totally OK!

While Tini was changing, I took some test shots of myself, and they came out so well that I'm totally satisfied. The photo tones are so warm, which I loved. Exactly the style I wanted~

Can you switch flower colors during the shoot?

At U&I Studio Hongdae Branch, you can swap the flowers that were first set up for different ones mid-shoot. We shot with the pink flowers for a while, then switched to red-toned flowers!

Since it was set up with pink flowers, I wondered if we couldn't change, but they said we could switch to other flowers too! The props are really varied and there's so much to shoot, so I recommend shooting busily, changing dresses and swapping props! While Tini was changing, we switched to red-toned flowers!

Ta-da~ Aren't the reds gorgeous too!? I thought a black dress would go well with these flowers, so we shot in a black dress too, hehe. Now let's check out the results, go go

Bridal shower photos and original file delivery at U&I Studio Hongdae

U&I Studio Hongdae Branch emails you all the photos you took as originals at the time your session ends. Thanks to that, we went straight to a café and picked our best shots in no time! We'd taken a LOT, haha. Getting the originals right away is so great...!!!

They have a chalkboard too, so we wrote Tini's and her husband's names and the wedding date! haha

For pink, we went delicate and dainty in a pink dress! Tini's life-shot, crowned! With pink flowers all around and fresh flowers in hand, she looked so so pretty T_T
