Hello~ Today I'm at Songdo Central Park, which has gorgeous scenery. I've been totally into 🥘 Indian curry lately, so I came to Bombay Broy (봄베이브로이), a great curry place in Songdo!

Where is Bombay Broy Songdo, and where to park

Bombay Broy Songdo is on the 2nd floor of the Central Park Prugio shopping arcade, and you can park in the building's underground car park 🅿️ with a whole 3 hours of free parking ❤️

If you park on the Building C side, it's a bit easier to find. Just put it into Naver Map and it will guide you to the car park.

You can see Sheraton and Oakwood at a glance 👏 and there's outdoor seating with a great Central Park view. This is where we arrived: Bombay Broy Songdo!

What's the atmosphere like at Bombay Broy Songdo?

The wood interior gives you the feeling of being somewhere local, which I loved, and the staff were very friendly. As you'd expect from Songdo International City, lots of the customers were foreigners. Indian curry is loved all over the world, after all!

Lunch Set A for ₩15,900: what's included and how to choose

We came at lunchtime, so I ordered Lunch Set A. For the kind price of ₩15,900 it includes curry, naan and rice 👍👍

• You can choose your curry from chicken tikka masala / butter chicken / prawn makhani / dal makhani
• In the lunch set the naan is butter naan and the rice is Korean rice by default, but you can change them if you ask!
• ✅ I chose chicken tikka masala / dal makhani!
• ✅ I also ordered a plain lassi

As soon as the curry arrived, the rich, nutty aroma got my appetite going. With warm butter naan and rice served alongside, it looked so filling just sitting there, haha. There was plenty of naan too, so I was really full afterwards.

Plain lassi

Plain lassi! I really love the combination of curry and lassi. Lassi is a traditional Indian drink, and you can think of it as a tangy-sweet yogurt drink. Drinking it with spicy curry feels like it neutralizes the heat, so it's refreshing and nice.

What does dal makhani taste like?

Dal makhani was my first time trying it. It's a smooth curry made with mung beans and cream herbs. It isn't spicy: the gentle flavor of the mung beans combined with the curry aroma made it creamy, with a slightly salty note added!

The combination of glossy butter naan and creamy Indian curry was so good. Bombay Broy's naan is especially chewy and nutty, so it tasted even better! I usually prefer curry with rice, but here the naan was tastier 😍

The dal makhani isn't harsh but mild, with a slightly salty taste, so dipping plenty of butter naan in it was a really great match, haha.

Don't skip the chicken tikka masala

Chicken tikka masala, which I love so, so much!!! This is a must-order, highly recommended dish at Bombay Broy, the Songdo curry spot ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The classic spicy Indian curry! It has a spicy tomato base with generous chicken, so people of all ages and tastes will like it. It's definitely not extremely spicy, just the right, tasty kind of spicy!

Nutty butter naan with chicken tikka masala... how could anyone not like this!!! For as long as you're eating it, Songdo turns into India. Magic!

There were several big, tender pieces of chicken, so the texture was satisfying too.

Korean rice vs Indian rice

You can choose Korean rice or Indian rice, so if you're not used to the non-sticky Indian rice, you can have Korean rice, which is nice, haha. Of course, I like both.

My friend and I both live in Songdo, and while wondering what to have for lunch at Central Park, we came to Bombay Broy because the lunch set price is kind and we both like curry. We were both super satisfied with the meal. Found a Songdo curry place to save!!

A little treat on the way out

On the way out, there were chocolates thoughtfully placed by the entrance, and as I was about to take one as dessert, a staff member said, "It's so hot outside, have this on your way~~" and gave us a cola/cider soda as a service…!! 👏👏 I was so grateful to the kind, thoughtful staff. Thanks to that, the walk was a little cooler, haha.

Curry, naan and rice all included for ₩15,900. It was a really satisfying lunch spot!

The taste is good and the portions are filling, so if you're looking for a curry place in Songdo, I highly recommend Bombay Broy!!
