Where is Eopija, and what are the hours and parking?

Eopija (어피자) is at 102 Mokdongjungangbuk-ro, 1st floor, Unit 101, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, within 10 minutes on foot from Yeomchang Station. It is open daily from 16:00 to 02:00 the next day. There is no parking at the shop, so they recommend Wolchon Public Parking Lot in Mokdong 2-dong.

I suddenly had a huge pizza craving on a weekend evening, and wanted something light and easy in a pizza-and-beer style, so I dashed over to Eopija, a pub near Yeomchang Station 🤍

Eopija is really close to Yeomchang Station, so getting there by public transport is super easy and convenient!!

What are the atmosphere and seating like at Eopija?

The inside of Eopija is fairly spacious, with plenty of well-arranged tables. It's great for a group get-together with friends near Yeomchang Station, or for office workers looking for a second-round company dinner spot, since everyone can fit!!

Welcome snack Pizza Time and the self-service bar

Once you sit down, Eopija brings out Pizza Time (피자타임), a pizza-flavored snack, as a welcome snack, and it was so good since I hadn't had it in ages, haha. A pizza specialty place giving out pizza snacks as the basic side is a clever touch, and it made me think the owner is really serious about pizza. Great!!

On one side of the shop there's a neat self-service bar with cold water, savory grated Parmesan, hot sauce and more, all set out so you can help yourself and season things to your taste. Very handy, hehe.

What are the new menu items and the menu lineup at Eopija?

Eopija has newly launched an arugula pizza and a spicy katsuo (bonito) buldak (spicy chicken) pizza!! What I especially liked is that the other half comes as a plain, mild cheese pizza, so you get to enjoy two flavors at once, haha.

You can order pizza by the half or whole pie, so it's nice for a small date for two, and also for a big group ordering a bunch of things to share, hehe.

Single pizzas include cheese, potato, gorgonzola, sweet potato and more, a wide range everyone from kids to grandparents likes, and there's a solid selection of sides like chicken tenders, karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and buffalo wings!! There are also pocha-style (Korean pub) snacks like gambas, nachos and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), so it's perfect for a quick beer with snacks, hehe.

Alcohol and non-alcoholic options

Eopija's signature drinks that stood out were Balvenie whisky, the sweet original cocktail Eopija Long Tea, and a refreshing non-alcoholic mojito, haha. There's a huge range of alcohol: draft beer, bottled beer, whisky, trendy cocktails, soju and wine. And with non-alcoholic beer and a non-alcoholic mojito too, it's a great place to come with people who don't drink!!

What's in Eopija's ₩29,900 Signature Premium Set?

This day I ordered the ₩29,900 Signature Premium Set, which bundles half of the new arugula pizza with oven spaghetti as a side!! I wanted to try pizza and a side together in one go.

Besides the Premium Set, which comes with pizza, a side and a vegetable salad, there are lots of other sets like the good-value Pizza & Beer Set and the Gan-maek Set, which is great 🤍 Single pizzas can even be bought by the slice, so it's no pressure.

Lemonade for ₩4,900 instead of alcohol

Instead of alcohol I ordered the fizzy, fresh Eopija lemonade for ₩4,900. They must have put in tons of lemon syrup, because it was sweet, tangy and refreshing, and so good, haha. If you're not drinking alcohol, I totally recommend this lemonade.

Soon the signature set arrived, and look at how generous it is, haha! On a big tray came neat halves of green arugula pizza and yellow cheese pizza, plus cheesy oven spaghetti and a fresh salad. The owner also gave us crispy nacho chips as a free extra, making the value even better. Great 🤍

How do the arugula pizza and oven spaghetti taste?

Eopija's arugula pizza has crunchy, fragrant arugula generously drizzled with sweet-and-sour balsamic sauce, so it was soft and just perfectly delicious!! Eating it right as it came fresh out of the oven was seriously amazing, haha.

The nostalgic oven spaghetti side was loaded with savory mozzarella, and twirled around a fork the sauce flavor was rich and so good, haha.

The crunchy salad, great as a palate cleanser, cut right through the greasy richness when eaten with the pizza, a very good combination!!

The overall atmosphere is so casual and relaxed that it's perfect for a weekend-evening pizza-and-beer date with your partner and a leisurely chat. It's a hidden regular's spot, haha. The value is so good that next time I'll come back with friends for slice pizza and beer. Totally satisfied, hehe.

Half cheese pizza with garlic dipping sauce

The basic Eopija cheese pizza itself had chewy dough and was so savory and tasty, and dipping it generously in the garlic dipping sauce that comes standard made a smooth umami burst. I never got tired of it and finished it in a flash, haha.

If you're looking near Yeomchang Station for a big, good-value pub that bakes its pizza fresh and has great sets, or a nice hotspot for a quick drink with pizza by the slice, I recommend Eopija!! The chewy arugula pizza and spaghetti combo there is a total recommendation 🤍
