Goeum Hair Salon (고움헤어살롱) is a Cheongna hair salon in Unit 218 of Cheongna Exelutower Building A. The new address is 22 Jungbong-daero 586beon-gil, Seohae-gu, Incheon, and the old address is 164-1 Cheongna-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. For parking, use the retail parking lot on the building's 1st floor.

A heads-up on parking! If you use the officetel parking lot, they say your parking time can't be registered.

They say Goeum Hair Salon gives a free clinic (treatment) coupon when you follow them on Naver. So follow them and get a clinic treatment!

My grown-out roots brought me to Goeum Hair Salon in Cheongna

This is the entrance to Goeum Hair Salon as you come up from the parking lot. It had been ages since my last dye job and my roots had grown out a lot, so to tidy up, haha, I went to Goeum Hair Salon in Cheongna ♡

Goeum Hair Salon has two entrances, so it feels really open! Once I got inside I could see lush green trees too, which put me in a good mood.

Is this Cheongna hair salon good to visit with kids?

Goeum Hair Salon has car-shaped kids' chairs for children getting their hair done. Amazing! Exactly the kind of car chair kids absolutely love. You get to sit in an adorable car and have your hair cut, wow, haha! Even kids who feel nervous at hair salons can enjoy it here. The owner told me it's already a big hit with moms, hehe.

Goeum Hair Salon even has candy for the kids, haha. It's a salon that's comfortable to visit with a child. I can just picture kids happily getting haircuts in the car chair, hehe. Great ♡ The difficulty level of parenting for the moms is going down, haha!

I think moms could happily chat here too, hehe. I've already called dibs on this spot as a perfect tea-time seat.

A hair salon with a terrace

You have to open the salon's other door properly to get in. A terrace at a hair salon, haha! That's why the salon doesn't feel stuffy at all and feels so open, love it ♡ You can also watch people passing by on the street, so it was nice to relax for a moment.

My hair before dyeing, and the consultation

Before going to Goeum Hair Salon, my roots had grown out a lot and my hair overall felt dry and lifeless. With my hair let down, haha, I talked with the owner, and then my makeover began, haha!

Luckily there were no other customers at my appointment time, so I got my hair dyed comfortably in a place that wasn't crowded.

Goeum Hair Salon uses a functional shampoo! The sunlight comes into the salon nicely too, which I liked.

KakaoPay and Ieum Card accepted

At Goeum Hair Salon you can pay with either KakaoPay or Ieum Card (a local currency card). Few places have an Ieum Card QR code, but this one does, so even without the card you can pay conveniently with the Ieum Card QR code.

Financiers made by the owner, as a free treat

Goeum Hair Salon serves financiers (small French almond cakes) as a complimentary treat during your service. I was touched~ The owner made the dessert herself, so the touching factor is doubled, haha! My hair gets prettier while the financier melts in my mouth. Is this really a hair salon? Haha! The care for customers is baked into the financier too. She makes all the baked goods herself, and I fell for this kind of detail.

What dye does Goeum Hair Salon use?

Goeum Hair Salon uses Milbon dye. I came for a dye job and discovered a financier hotspot too, haha! The owner has golden hands, certified, hehe. Since the dye is Milbon, I trusted it right away. (She told me Milbon dye is yellow in color.)

A shampoo room with mood lighting

They gave me a refreshing shampoo in the shampoo room at Goeum Hair Salon, so healing in every way!

The shampoo felt like a scalp massage. And the shampoo room itself is full of atmosphere, haha. Starting with the lighting, isn't it a total mood hotspot?

The natural blow-dry result after dyeing

Snapped a photo with my hair still damp after the shampoo. The after shot is coming up in a moment, hehe. Even before the blow-dry, my expectations were up!

My hair looks so calm and neat ♡ Once it's blow-dried naturally, the twist begins, haha!

This is how I was transformed, hehe. The understated natural blow-dry is exactly my style~ A finish that looks styled yet unstyled, so natural! The owner of Goeum Hair Salon finished it beautifully in a style that's easy to maintain.

A day when natural beats flashy! I love my dyed hair, and the financier tasted amazing too, haha. I was touched by an owner who really cares about service, and with a effortlessly-chic blow-dry done well, I'm heading home.
